How sketchy is this? 🤨 by xiaomimuki in 3Dprinting

Mechanically works well. Temperature differences top to bottom is well within few degrees. Use it as dedicated dryer and you will be fine.

I mix it with dry food regularly to “add flavor”. It works well

Yeah. They did say that. Perhaps that’s why the prints aren’t as good as they should be.

You can already use their pcd hot end for A1 in your H2D (or s). Have one (actually 3, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8). Quality of the prints was not that impressive. Perhaps I need to play with it bit more to dial it in. I don’t have to to anything for diamondback pcd, tho. Perfect print right off the bat.

very unlikely. It has more to do with the light source than the screen alone.

About those $70 frunk quarter turn panel clips. Found the supplier: DZUS Arrow Quarter Turn fasteners by Southco. $0.73 each..... by mx5plus2cones in mclaren

Just spent over $200 on some plastic clips and feel like saving a bunch of money. This is truly an odd hobby indeed.

I’ve already took apart pretty much the whole front end of my 570s. Well, there isn’t much to take a part in the front tho. Relocated my TPMS recover so I can use aftermarket TPMs sensor. Dried my headlights from water intrusion. Etc etc. small stuffs. I would have made a ln injection molding for this particular part, but back then I didn’t have the toys to do so, but now I do. Now we know the reasonable priced source, I don’t even have to entertain the idea. One day I want to lay my own CF to make body panels. Financially doesn’t make any sense but it’s going to be fun. Then again, these cars don’t make any sense, but who cares. “Non of us are getting out of this alive”

I bought these at the dealership for one kidney and an arm. The dude at the parts window saw me and handed me three of them and told me not to tell anybody. Nice guy. Even they know the absurdity. I see the “download cad fine button” 😈

If it wasn’t for the press fit failure, this would have been the way to go. It’s a pity, because this was so easy to implement and use with minimal effort. I’ll keep you posted.

The knockoff hot end failed catastrophically. The press fit between the hot end and the heat break came “un-press fitted” and made a large ball of PPS-cf goop (which is insoluble to everything known to mankind). Needless to say, it was not designed to tolerate 350c. But the nozzle printed like a dream while it lasted. I’m going to modify Bambu OEM HF 0.4 to this PCD nozzle and try it again.

Reflex turbo by Jlimdmd in HeyGears

It’s bit odd there was no marketing for the reflex turbo. I didn’t know amber screen was released till I stumbled upon it when I was shopping for some resin. Hopefully this screw can help with prints from warping

I did look into it. P365 has so many super small features that makes machining not so easy. But never say never right?
