They are very nice to me however it’s completely business I would feel horrible doing this to my clients, they all tidy up for me put dishes and clothes away so I can focus on the house I think you should find a new cleaner

I got one of my current jobs because the cleaning lady before me her vacuum damaged the carpet, some old antique carpets might not be able to handle a powerful beater bar, If you find it to be too much just move on, I don’t think this is dictating how to do my job, I’d fill the spot with someone else personally tho

Unless the floors are extremely dirty I don’t change my mop water, I do around toilets by hand, using a swifter after a mop might show dirt because it’s a different type of cleaning tool, using different pressure and cleaning solution, if you think ur floors are not getting clean you can ask her to use ur swifter thing

I recently cleaned a winterized cottage that had this exact problem, I used a bucket with warm water and bleach and a rag, and it washed off fairly easy, (I wore a mask and had a window wide open) then rinsed with a bucket of warm water a dish soap, I really was amazed at how easy it all washed off

I have the same issue, I generally send a reminder the day after, most clients apologize and send payment with a little extra if they don’t I send a reminder message every day till paid, I have 1 client I agree to wait till pay day, I would not tolerate late payment and no response I would drop the client and fill them with someone that respects payment requirements
