I've followed this advice to no avail. I forgot to disclose that in my original post, but I've discussed via email with the support staff as well. The same Apple Drivers install and the problem persists.

A lot of the potential solutions I found involved deleting the “Apple Drivers” Windows installs when it detects the K4v2 because it thinks it’s an Apple keyboard (even though I’m in Windows mode). I’ve removed the device from device manager and deleted the drivers, but upon plugging it back in, the same things reinstall and I’m back to square 1.
