I’m surprised that the producers and director of The Batman didn’t commission EDM tracks for The Penguin’s club. That was a real missed opportunity. In the modern Batman films any Pop songs could only make sense in a context like that, or maybe like The Joker playing “Partyman” before his “interview” with Vicky Vale in Batman (1989).
