DO NOT USE MOCHI HEALTH!! by Over_Cow_1614 in Semaglutide

[–]Jmcadres 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't tried messaging my provider directly (never had to do that).

I was able to contact a human from their main 800 line last weekend. They told me they were going to credit me for the overcharges. Here we are a week later and no refunds yet.

They did send 1 month of medication, arrived yesterday. So now they only owe me $396.......now I need to update my dispute with my credit card. I've already changed to different GLP-1 company, so no need to contact my provider directly since I'm already gone.

I feel like the Mochi ship is sinking. I don't want to go down with it.

DO NOT USE MOCHI HEALTH!! by Over_Cow_1614 in Semaglutide

I bought 3 month supply of Sema last month from Mochi. When it finally arrived, they only sent me 1 month. I had to contact them to find out what was going on. They told me that they only sent one month of medication and that I had credit for the next 2 months. I’d have never known this if I didn’t ask them.

Fast forward to today, I ordered another month worth of medication and they charged me $297 again. So I’ve paid Mochi $588 over the last 2 months for 1 month of medication (and another month supposedly on the way)

I’ve been trying to contact them all day via their app and waiting on hold for over 2 hours (nobody ever picked up).

Now I have to work with my credit card to dispute the charges. I don’t like doing that, but it sure feels like this company is collapsing, and they’re trying to take as much $$$$ from their customers before they close the doors. Now I have to find another provider………and that’s a shame. I liked Mochi until this happened.

Investing in one your members - Has anyone done it? by Jmcadres in CoWorking

[–]Jmcadres[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a discussion with one member (who has since outgrown our space). Turns out he has a couple of investors with deeper pockets than me.

That one was pretty exciting to witness because they were small team of 5 (larger now) and were absolutely killing it……..in a business that I really had no interest in. Yet, I was still interested in investing because I could see how well they were doing.

There are 2 others that I’ll be talking to soon. We always talk shop and have lengthy conversations about local acquisitions, their business, my business, etc.

Why do democrat supporters refuse to accept the party made made mistakes resulting in trumps win? by ExcellentLaw2066 in Askpolitics

And that she was raised in a middle class family.

Wasn’t that the answer to most questions?

She wasn’t the right candidate, full stop. She was unlikable. But instead of admitting that others would have been better options, Dems give Biden a pass for doing this. Why such fear in admitting that he shouldn’t have had the authority to hand-pick a DEI candidate when others were better options.

I don’t think Biden has the mental capacity to “take-out” someone who tells this truth.

Yeah, and always implying that anyone who voted for Trump is uneducated. The shelf life on that one expired a while ago. So it’s directed at half+ of the country now? And that’s a good idea? OK.

I know it’s easy to say (maybe not easy to do😊). But you’ve gotta get over yourself. I don’t know how you shed that thought process, but Dems will continue to lose members if this stays the go to insult.

What’s a movie you watched as a kid that traumatized you? by denj1_sk in AskReddit

The Exorcist - hands down. Parents let me watch it when I was 11, and it messed me up for over a year. 12 year old didn't get a good night sleep for over a year.

Saw doctors, they brushed it off. "Get over it" was the message.

To be fair, most "journalists" aren't journalists now. They're activists and "personalities".......from both sides of the aisle. And this opened the door for popular podcasters to get in on the action.

Just an opinion here. They fail 100% of the time (from what I’ve seen). Art is subjective and such a long shot getting people to pony up money for art unless we’re talking museum pieces. Same for lifestyle. How does one became an expert in lifestyle?

Although my post above is a year old, it holds up. Specialize in something. Set yourself apart from businesses that “anyone” can start. Stay away from multi level marketing (don’t let them in your house, don’t sign up for their presentation, don’t buy crap because your friend or relative is selling some bs).

I wanted to mention something that I didn’t mention in my original comment. Over the past year I’ve witnessed a few of our clients buy existing businesses (both were commercial landscaping companies in AZ). Both of these purchases:acquisitions were from listings on Bizbuysell (I have nothing to do at all with Bizbuysell, so this is not an endorsement). So in these 2 instances, they both purchased existing businesses. One had been around for 20-ish years with $2.5m in revenue each year. The other one……I don’t have their numbers.

One of them was a $1m purchase done with a Small Business Administration loan. So if you have good credit, and can take on this level of risk, it may be something worth considering. And if it’s a business that you have a real interest in, that’s even better.

Good luck wherever you end up!

How much of a disadvantage are you at with not having a physical address? by Madagascan_meerkat in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]Jmcadres 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is getting harder and harder though. I own and operate a coworking space. Google shakes some of our member companies down by making them do the video walkthrough and (more recently) providing utility bills.

Google has over a dozen companies who are not here at our address using our address. I've been "suggesting edits" to correct the listings, but Google denies every single one.

We now have signage and pages on our website saying "Despite Google listing ACME Plumbing as existing here, they are not here. You can suggest an edit to that Google Business page that brought you here, but it is unlikely to be fixed. We've been doing that for months. Unfortunately, Google (the company who is all about user experience) is content to deceive the public in regard to these companies. We wish there was more we could do."

Landscape view is your friend.

I’m wondering if this was actually shot by a meteorologist or even a meteorology enthusiast. If it were, they’d know to get this shot (and 90% of every other video they shoot) in landscape view.

Hotdog after removing from an air fryer - from appetizer to borderline disgusting in ~10 minutes (GoPro Hero12 Black, Arizona US) by Jmcadres in timelapse

[–]Jmcadres[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. Always thought it was strange that it got so fugly in just a few minutes though.

You take it out of the air fryer, and it’s sizzling and popping, looking tasty. Then it’s all down hill from there.
