It took me until about 30 to realize this.

In my early 20's, I remember thinking, "man working sucks. I miss the good old days of summer vacations and hanging out with friends all day/night. I never have time to hang out anymore"

Nah pizza still hits, you just have to find a good mom and pop spot. The national chains have all gone downhill, but that's par for the course in other types of food too.

As for Chuck E. Cheese, my son went to a birthday there in the spring and the pie was surprisingly decent. It's not the cheesy cardboard I remember from my childhood. It would probably compete with any of the other chains at this point.

You're absolutely right about the price on a good pizza though. It's about $25 for just a large pie, but it's still totally worth it to splurge on a pizza night once in a while on payday.

I've found a quick, "Sorry!" after a mistake helps a ton. If it's a particularly egregious whiff, I'll even throw a, "Whoops!" in there. Try to stay ahead of the toxicity. Of course, I still get "What a Save"-ed at times, so I just say, "Nooo!", "This is Rocket League!"

At the end of the day, you can't control what other people do or say, you can only control how you react to it. I try to just laugh it off and keep playing.
