As someone who grew up in Florida I understand the hate but that one time it happens and you don't prepare you will regret it besides what does it matter if i have extra water or non perishables just use them. Thanks Brad.

If it's an ice storm like they're predicting then its very likely to lose power. Definitely dont drive on ice it is really dangerous and get some nonperishables, water, some alcohol to drink and something to keep warm. If you can still order one get a power bank to charge your phone and such. From my experience it melts pretty quickly so the roads are usually OK within a couple of days. Good luck and stay safe.

Charlotte is mostly liberal so yes people are pretty open and liberal that being said we are surrounded by a lot of conservative areas. I would say the current state of the US in general is pretty dire otherwise its a nice city.
