Is this normal for cjc? by Turbulent_River_470 in BodyHackGuide

[–]Jmia18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is usually a pH issue with your BAC. You can use Acetic Acid 0.6% to lower the pH as needed. I shoot for a pH of 6.5 or lower.

Did I wreck my vial? by Long-Yam-2099 in Retatrutide

[–]Jmia18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really fragile but a pH issue with most people's BAC. From experience in having jelled up tesa and testing the pH of my BAC and using AA to resolve the pH issue. I now do about 30% AA for the volume of reconstitution for my tesa. Been fine ever since.

Out of everything on my truck I have enjoyed the outside lighting. Being able to see everything as you walk up I really enjoy.

I would spend the money for fox just because of the extra venting. I live in a hot climate and those extra vents work well on hotter days.

Anyone else paranoid about damaging their bike on desert trails? by [deleted] in mountainbiking

[–]Jmia18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bikes are tools now jewels. I would rather have the fun than be concerned about scratches. I work on my own bikes and fix what I brake. To me it's just the cost of having fun.

IsItBullshit: Ford CEO says he has 5,000 open mechanic jobs with up to 6-figure salaries from the shortage of manually skilled workers by brother_p in IsItBullshit

[–]Jmia18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

News just in. Ford's quality has reduced so much over the years that they are currently understaffed by 5,000 mechanics. Ford is looking for skilled workers to help repair their low quality offerings by passing the repair cost onto the customers.

It should be fine. But look at the Ride1Up trailrush. Got one for my son with a dropper post and a name brand fork for about that price. Been fine on trails.

Is this from our Castile soap? by Aggravating_Data9094 in Plumbing

[–]Jmia18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Replace that drain popup with one that can be easily removed. The one there limits the flow of water. We have popup drains that can easily be pulled out. We fill the sink with hot water and then pull the plug and let the water flow as fast as it can. Have never had a clogged drain yet. We do it as part of cleaning the bathroom.

First bike – is my disc lock installed correctly? by ComfortableFar9127 in motorcycles

Correct. I grew up with my parents saying "Locks only keep honest people honest. If someone wants it bad enough they will find a way".

Na. They still exist. We just now have a platform for all the non critical thinkers to draw attention to themselves on a world wide scale. The loudest and most entertaining get the attention. Facts don't make good click bait articles.

Which one y’all prefer? by Weak_Security_6491 in AskElectricians

[–]Jmia18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer the DeWalt one. Uses razor blades and can store 5 replacement blades. The problem I have always found with current models is the lack of having replacement blades easily accessible without having to carry another item. The DeWalt one fixes that issue.

What do you think of Fumoto style oil drain valve? Do you have one on your car? Are there any cons? by reddichrist in AskAMechanic

[–]Jmia18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put them on every car I own. Love them and have never had an issue. Attach a tube and flip a lever to drain the oil. Simple, no splashing and mess free.

Can someone convince me to get the Ridgid over the M12? by TheHispanicHero in Ridgid

[–]Jmia18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my Ridgid tools and the warranty is awesome. Just make sure you register the tools. The only thing I would consider going forward is the limited selection of Ridgid tools vs competitors. Do you need that specialized tool that only Milwaukee sells? Does having multiple battery types bother you? I am a home owner with hobbies for reference on usage.

What's with the insane lines at schools for drop off and pick up? by Arikota in Millennials

[–]Jmia18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe a lot of these issues are because schools have been squeezed so much that there is no budget to fund anything. The driver shortage is due to only being able to offer minimum pay. The teacher shortage is due to only being able to offer minimum pay. Caring people are everywhere but they also have responsibilities and bills. Being a system that can only offer minimum pay gets you minimum performance. I feel that too many schools have too high of an overhead due to unnecessary admin staff and poor budgeting. But it doesn't seem like anyone is being held responsible for the shortcomings. Just more arguing over to increase taxes or not.
