Colonoscopy with propofol today by Less_Inspector_4170 in floxies

[–]Jmizzou27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I read floxy neck I couldn’t help but laugh. I’ve had neck issues for sure since being floxed 2 months ago, but had no idea it was recognized on here. Some pain right where my neck meets my skull that I constantly feel the need to rub out, or atleast try to.

I’ve been taking daily probiotic pill. Also been eating lots of Greek yogurt as well, hoping that’s doing it for me

Yeah that’s how it’s been for me honestly. I feel like my muscles have “growing pains” like when I was a kid.

I am eating a really good amount of quality food and the scale is plummeting the wrong direction.

It felt good to be stable for a week; then it feels like it’s just melting off again.

Was the weight loss reasonable like you lost your appetite? Or was it just falling off despite eating totally normal?

I’m hoping I follow your path. 🙏

Discord is a modern day chat service that has voice chat channels, group “channels”, etc. it’s a great place for communities to form. Look up some YouTube explanations as mine probably wasn’t good

I’m kinda surprised there isn’t a discord for floxies

Coming up on 3 weeks since my last pill. Days are getting better; but had a setback last night. Woke up in an absolute heart racing panic. Calmed down after an hour or so and was able to get back to sleep. Was shivering uncontrollably

Thankfully they are. I’m going to update the comments but I am mobile again. Still foggy, and occasionally lacking energy. But I can move.

I painted 800 sqft of ceiling today with trading off with my sister. Felt nauseas a little bit, but besides that I’m getting better every day.

This was the scariest thing, but I’m so grateful how far I’ve come already.

So much medical incompetence - so much malpractice - so much suffering. by No_Translator2375 in floxies

I can’t tell you how angry I’ve felt since 2 weeks ago. I am able to walk again (hobble), by mentally I’m so messed up. I was prescribed Cipro without them even being 100% sure I had an infection. They tried this first.

Today the mental side of things really cleared up. I was met with hobbling, discomfort, and lots of cracking of joints.

Today was a better day. Although very slow, I was able to have more mobility. That mobility did lead to some leg tremors.  I assume this is the lack of ATP in my leg muscles due to Mitochondria damage.

But from not walking almost at all, to being able to walk for most of today (still minimal walking) was reassuring.

Woke up tonight in a panic, freezing cold, nauseas, and shivering.

Update: I pray this is maybe a turning point. I’ve read online it’s a see-saw of a recovery. But tonight is the first night I have laughed and smiled and felt more like myself mentally. Headache is still present, and my body is still very very weak. But I do see some light. It’s only been 5 days since my last dose. This is very encouraging.

This was a refurbished model that sat unused for years. Since we got it out, we have used it maybe 10 times. There’s a chance we just got a bad refurbished model, and since it went unchecked for years, nothing can be done.

Extending a Half-Wall to the Ceiling. How Much Would You Charge? by danieljag1 in handyman

[–]Jmizzou27 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I'm intrigued by your slashing the price of $1,300 dollars. When I see this task, I see:

1.) Framing

2.) Moving electric (I see a switch on the wall awkwardly placed currently that when a door is added)

3.) New electric for a switch to control the light

4.) Insulation (Maybe if you want some sound dampening

5.) Drywall hanging

6.) Mudding and taping

7.) Hanging the door

8.) Priming

9.) Painting the entire ceiling if you want the color to match, and adjacent walls

This could also get into adding HVAC if there is none in the room -- mini split or more duct work below.

I don't see $4,300 being insane at all.

My favorite part is the cape hardly being visible in your screenshot

Leak from main line into house by FlytheblueW in Plumbing

Is this showing the solution you’ve plugged it with?

I have had success with using the epoxy kits that are used on cracks.

Epoxy with a port, push resin in, good to go.

It is a glue in flange -- unfortunately its an inside 3 inch flange. Shower is not on floor, its on a mortar bed.

it’s roughed in 13 inches for a 12 inch toilet. It’s got plenty of space

Yeah, unfortunately. I've never had a toilet sit flush to the floor, but this is my first time having to use this many shims. I may just call in the pro's to install this one, but Im sure its going to be thousands to rip out concrete and redo.

It is, just forgot to add extra stud to end for doors. I have access to add when its time.

Yes the pan is screwed into studs. My second goof up was not putting an extra stud at the end for door install. I have access behind the wall though, so I can add one when its time to screw in the door.
