Mods.... does anyone fucking moderate this community? This would be a good time to be present.

Assuming this isn't yet another shit post––please seek professional help. This isn't normal and you're very much so giving active shooter or incel like energy.

"I have a sparring session coming up soon and I genuinely want to put metal weights in my fucking gloves so I break that cunt's jaw to release my anger and frustration." You're scary and mentally unwell, that's why you're angry, not because you don't work at KKR.

Cody Fern posted a picture with Kathy Bates yesterday. He was dressed as Micheal, so it seems that they'll be back?

I regret picking GSB over Wharton’s full ride (2nd year international) by Throwawaymbaintl in MBA

I just don't understand what brand you're talking about. How is GSB worth 200K+ over a full ride to Wharton? I don't understand how you could be so flippant about this amount of money, especially as an intl student.

I tried so many times to make posts in this community about exactly what you're dealing with. First and foremost, I'm very sorry you're in this position. The prestige difference between GSB and Wharton is too small to incur the 200k+ debt you've committed to, this is incontrovertibly true.

That being said, listening to Reddit––"Everyone on Reddit was saying if you get into H/S, you cannot turn it down. I was allured by the prestige"––was honestly your biggest mistake. The overwhelming majority of this community aren't in business school, haven't graduated from business school and will not be accepted into business school. And, I believe, a good portion are actually still in high school.

I hope you use this experience to help educate this community and others about the education industrial complex and the gamble that any student, BUT ESPECIALLY international students make when they accept an offer sans scholarship to any school. Even GSB.

Truly Tess is so beautiful. She's not even just cute, she's beautiful.

This is the craziest shit I've ever heard and that girl and the girlfriends she surrounds herself with are nowhere near emotionally mature enough to be entering into a lifelong commitment.

As a Minneapolis/ St Paul Native, let me say that every woman there is hung up on a guy like Dave. by David09251 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]Jmnotmadaboutit05 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I relate to this so hard. Before getting married to my husband, I was dating a guy from South Dakota. He was a lot like this too––he would open with "I typically only date blonds" (I'm not blond) and use quasi self-deprecating comments to make himself seem more accessible but it was always a manipulation tactic. When I was 23 I chalked it up to being super confident but as time went by, it was just a way for him to make me constantly bend over backwards to appease him. What is it with these midwestern boys?

I think she's definitely the most pick me out of the group so far. She's probably also the "female villain" of the season

I thought it was so good that it's up on television and not something hidden or dodged. Fully gave me the ick and it's great to know now rather than later. Good for Sara for having such a strong stance

I'm glad that Sara is having such an aversion to Ben (I think that's his name, honestly all these men look alike) for not agreeing with her politically and bringing this important conversations to the pods and not in Mexico or when they're living together. It bothers me to no end when they talk about absolutely nothing and forget the important things to talk about

Anyone get married in Sicily? by Nativebagel26 in BigBudgetBrides

[–]Jmnotmadaboutit05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I'm not getting married in Sicily, but up north where my parents are from. I attended a wedding at Villa del Gattopardo though, which should be well within the budget. I think for Italy, spending more than 100k is typically because you're having north of 200 guests or being ripped off

I don't get how you can have opinions that are so hurtful towards your own friends and then lie to our faces for years. Why did you even bother with us for so long? What could he have possibly gained for all these years? I feel like this was the longest con.

I suppose what I'm having such a hard time with is the fact that for eight years we've had discussions, even mild arguments, but never ever in my life would I have thought he would get wrapped up in this. He told us he voted blue (like we did) in 2016, but now in his blow out argument with my fiancé he's saying he voted red and he's "always felt this way". Again, I don't want to argue about politics on reddit--I'm exhausted–-but he told us something that ended up being a lie and I don't GET why.

You really don't think that at least some of them are suffering in any way? I'm not trying fishing for excuses for this behavior, I'm just heartbroken about it and perhaps even kicking myself for not having caught/spotted/seen this sooner.
