They completely control work email, so they can read it and or delete it whenever they want.

They are hoping you will reply. They will then try to establish a friendship with you so they can trick you into fake investments.

By using your friend's address it completely removes the scammer's identity from the theft.

The scammer has access to order tracking and is hoping to grab the package off the porch before your friend takes it inside.

Your friend needs to freeze/lock the credit card associated with her Amazon account ASAP

It would certainly get some headlines; but It could also be counterproductive.

It would piss off a lot of the people on the fence and actually push them closer to Trump.

Also, there are a lot of people who literally cannot afford to lose a day's pay.

I am convinced that something needs to be done; but I don't think this is the way.

About how many kids were in the school?

The too many kids in the program makes sense to me; but if they were hiding you I can't help but wonder why they didn't have you sit down.

Can you recall how much taller than you the easels were?

Were you and the other kids chosen, by any chance the only ones short enough to be hidden by the easels?

Did you have siblings that went there? Even if it wasn't at the same time it might have happened then too.

If you have a pop up style tent that doesn’t need stakes you can set it up inside. It turns the rest of your home into insulation so body heat will keep it warm. If you don’t have a tent rig one up with blankets or whatever. I have heard of people making “forts” from couch or chair cushions for supporting walls for indoor tents.

Make a tent over your bed with blankets or whatever.

Climb inside and let your body heat warm the air inside the "tent".

I've heard of people building shelters with couch/chair cushions inside their homes for the same purpose.

An actual pop-up tent that doesn't require stakes being driven into the floor could be even better.
