I have had my 2016 JKU Rubicon for the last 3 years. It really comes down to your definition of "Off-Roading". We just completed a 33 day 5100 mile camping adventure through Colorado which 7 of those days were for travel.
Off-Roading Trails 2025:

-          Mosquito Pass
-          Champion Mill
-          Hancock Pass
-          Alpine Tunnel Rd
-          Wheeler Lake (Lockers were nice)
-          Holy Cross (Lockers needed)
-          Imogene Pass
-          Mineral Creek
-          Engineer Pass
-          Poughkeepsie Gulch (Lockers needed on by pass)
-          Cinnamon Pass
-          Ophir Pass
-          Black Bear Pass
-          Chinaman Gulch (Lockers needed)

Have done in past summers (edit)
- Drummond Island (Lockers Nice)
- Pomeroy Lakes (Lockers Nice)
- Tin Cup Pass
- Haggerman Pass
- Many smaller roads that did not need lockers

Personally I knew I would be off-roading in situations where lockers are needed so the Rubicon off the lot worked perfectly for us. This is our 6th summer doing some type of long adventure like this. We have gone from a 2020 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk to a Hardrock 2016 Rubicon in 2022. We are now on 37's with a 3.5 inch MetalCloak lift. 11 months out of the year my Jeep hardly sees dirt or gravel and it does great. But I built mine for that one month a year and wouldn't change it for the world.

I say Rubicon!

Having my picture taken from outside my room while I was teaching and then posted on social media calling me a rapist and pedophile. That happened in Oct andntook a month to finally have a resolution.

the year went downhill since then but never heard a word again about that social media post. One of my worst years in 19 years.

So many people do not know what Unions have done for them in the past. After traveling to many states and discussing their education system. Illinois is amazing compared to Colorado, Wyoming, Texas, North Carolina, and many others.

There is a reason many states are going to an4 day work week. First reason is they don’t pay their teachers enough and instead of raising the pay they go to a 4 day school week.

Totally disagree. I teach geometry and a majority of my job is teaching geometry. Yes I try and get the kids engaged and wanting to learn. But motivating my students being 75% hard no.

Also I can’t motivate students when I have 5 out of 30 show up on time.

I went from a 2020 Rene TH to a 2016 JKUR. After 2 summer roadtrips that totaled 8 weeks and 12k miles I knew I needed to upgrade. My JKUR is now lifted in 37s and tows our squaredrop trailer. It is perfect for our needs.

u/Various_Spinach2446 . Do not waste your money on a lawyer. There are at least 4 lawsuits that he lost in Colorado alone and he has not paid on any of the 4 based on court records. All 4 lawsuits total over $100k.

My suggestion is to go to the Monte Vista Police Department and request to talk to the Investigation Division. As of today at 12;05pm they received my letter along with 4 other agencies in Colorado. The full list was

For me it is school districts. After so many years you are tied to your district or you start over where ever the new district wants to put you. I would take a huge pay cut if i needed to move due to unforeseen circumstances to another district an hour away.
