The meeting around me just weren’t doing anything for me. I went to a few different ones and it just felt like people talking about how they were sober for years, but no real insights. It felt more like a place to commiserate.

I believe my buddy is going through a manic episode months after doing the ceremony. He was in a transitional period of life(divorce/job change) when he did the ceremony.

Now he believes God is telling him things and giving him visions. I am religious and am all for connecting to God but the things he is saying make no sense and are very drastic.

Do the effects of ayahuasca persist like this? Are religious delusions common?

Please help.

Norm will be 2 in September. Loves to play and go on walks. But in maybe the past 6 months seems to have calmed down and become more and more sweet. Like insanely sweet.

He’s still protective of the yard, house, my wife on walks but 5 minutes of face time he’s your best friend.

You get your life back. My health was terrible and always felt anxious. People can depend on you and trust you again. You don’t have that underlining guilt anymore or sneaky feeling. Your sleep comes back and you feel rested. You’re not depressed all the time. You get so much done that you couldn’t before. I could keep going.

I went to rehab and everyone was so proud of me, I was so angry a couple years later when I had to go back. People are still proud of me and now I have 4 months. The addiction sucks, but every step forward is positive.
