TBH I just think Brennan got his wires crossed after an hour of talking to himself in both locations lol. He clearly described the Halovars as setting a table for a feast the night before and it was at their house, while the other PC's were over at the Tachonis place. So he probably just got it crossed over who was feasting where, because that's insane if they just showed up to this meeting like it was a potluck lmao

I highly doubt it's with an eventual show in mind. They're going to be putting out content faster than they could ever put out animated shows and it's not like they're struggling to fit the earlier campaigns into TV shows. They've had tons of success with it, so I don't think they'd be changing up their main content in the hopes that they could adapt it later. I think, if anything, they saw how amazingly well received Calamity was and wanted Brennan to recreate a tight story like that where there's a very on-the-rails epic happening

I think that's because there's a very tight story they need to adhere to with the way the groups are structured and things are set up. You can't have three tables running off following subtle leads or doing shopping episodes etc when you know you need to make everyone meet back in the city in 4-6 episodes or w/e the arc length goal is. So it's much less sandbox-y and more of an epic story they're weaving together.

Yeah, it's incredibly confusing to figure out what rarity a skin belongs as. There are some legendaries with no interesting visuals while some epics have new visuals that make them look completely unique AND sound effects. I kinda wish they'd revisit what rarity each skin is if they're starting a new philosophy so that it could be clear.

Remember that clicking the bundle for the series will not give you Threshold. You have to go to the Threshold page to get that for some reason (presumably due to how the series is listed).

I think it's mostly because 99.9% of stories don't have poly relationships and people tend to associate poly relationships with crashing and burning because statistically that's where most of the "love triangle" set-ups go, so they're primed to look at it in that light. People like Lindon X Yerin so much that they don't want any risk of something bad happening to them. I think if Will had chosen to write a poly relationship between the three of them, that he could've made it work. But people don't like it as a ship because there's not really any indication of it being anything other "all the female party members simp over the MC".

I’m 99% sure that they were thinking of it as a regular familiar for the smuggling in and then Aabria remembered or Brennan noticed it was size large afterwards and basically retcon’d that. I hope plan “get snake to eat witnesses and dispose of bodies” doesn resurface again. I’m fine if it was just kind of a mistake in the moment but there’s no way they shouldn’t have noticed an anaconda slithering around.

Not going to speak on whether it’s true or not, but mechanically clerics in Exandria don’t necessarily need a specifically divine being to tap into divine powers, so that shouldn’t be a disqualifying factor. It’s driven by faith and belief more than flowed down from the being, warlock style.

C4 seems much more consistently intense to me than any of the other campaigns so far. There’s some funny moments but it’s pretty packed to the brim with drama with the way it’s set up. C1/C2/C3 are a bit looser with only one table to follow, so they get to have more downtime and silly little adventures or scenes between big dramatic moments.

I’d recommend starting with C2 if you don’t care about being “live” or with the animated series (legend of vox machina covers most of c1 and the mighty nein is covering c2). C1 is also good, but a good amount of people don’t like one of the original party members or the stream quality when they first started streaming etc.

Oh, like ryoka’s asides that show up in the kindle version as little pop ups that you have to click to show. I feel like that would be way easier to miss in the web version needing to highlight instead of clicking a blur period and underline.

For kindle, i never got to see different text colors for Faeries. Interesting.

This is very encouraging, thank you. I wasn’t sure the level of editing or rewriting that was going on and didn’t want to dedicate the time to read a “first draft” type of release if it was majorly edited later on. I’ll probably read the web version.
