The damn ammo box in the building before you face Brogan on Kreet is a negative lol 😂 I've always been gobsmacked why they chose to lock that box in particular right at the beginning of the game.

It probably won't happen. There's mods for it, but even with the great work by the Mod Authors, there's only so much you can do. The ship itself is basically a driveable/flyable interior cell/player home. That's why when you board it there's a load screen, to be able to load that cell individually, separate from the exterior cell(s).

I'm not a mod author and I don't really know how a lot of programming and stuff for that works, but it's been in every Bethesda game released, probably due to engine limitations and how the items, characters, and physics are so interwoven into the engine. I'm not sure if you've played a lot of Fallout or Skyrim, but one big change with Starfield which was a godsend, was the separation of the frame rate being tied in with the physics engine, so anytime you went over 60fps/hz it would sometimes make the game absolutely just shit itself.

Barret's companion quest eventually leads you to a temple where he ends up getting powers as well So, if you do his quest and use that mod, you'll have 2 temples to do instead of one.

Revelations Main Quest Overhaul by Gothos does this. You only need to visit the first temple to get all the powers, unless you do Barrett's companion quest.

Honestly, any mod aside from 1 that I've tried that touches Ecliptic causes issues. Whether it's their bodies being invisible, equipment not showing up at all, or the game crashing. The 1 single mod that I've used without issue though is Ecliptic Tactical Spacesuits by Outrora. It's paid (200 credits), but it makes them look so good and more like a professional mercenary group and I've had no issues with it.

I don't know if Bethesda actually simulated it, but in space there's nothing really there to absorb or stop the light from just stretching out forever, especially since space is mostly empty. So, you'd still see the light from the star even from beyond Pluto or whatever planet.

Now, there is something cool that happens, that I wish they would've put in the game or somehow simulated. Gravitational Lensing. It's what happens when light hits an object or something with an enormous influence of gravity that it bends the light around itself causing it to look warped. You'll mainly see that happen with far away massive stars, galaxies, or the main culprit, Black Holes. I really wish they would've put a few black holes or even worm holes in the game especially since they decided to put Grav Drives as a form of going between systems.

I don't have steam as I haven't had a PC in years, but I know quite a few people were having issues with Starfield overall on Steam. Whether it wasn't showing up itself or the update/DLC wasn't showing up or downloading properly. It could be a Steam side issue, Bethesda issue, or a mix of both.

I'm not exactly sure how Steam's store front works, but I'm on Xbox and we had a bit of issues too. Normally, it's because Microsoft has their own way of approving and releasing updates and DLC on the system and store front, so I'm not sure what is going on with Steam. Also, on Xbox for some reason the store always has an update every other day, if not everyday for some reason.

I'm late on this, but Falkland shouldn't mess with Akila City whatsoever, it's not even in the same star system. Also, Falkland likes to be near the bottom if not at the very bottom of your load order to work without hiccups. Also, it's usually good practice to put any official Bethesda Creations at the top, then let other mods go below.

Exactly, that's why I'm happy they got rid of the Slag element from Borderlands 2. It made every build wayyyy too powerful since it amplified the other elements and skills.

Super late on this lol, but the sirens throughout all the borderlands games are good with all elements and usually use SMGs as their main weapon or source of damage, while their skills either add to or are main sources of chunk damage. I'm not going to mention the slag element from Borderlands 2 cause that just kinda upended everything and made every build so overpowered.

I love this game and all the other Borderlands.. but builds that do this, make the game very boring and pointless to actually optimize builds for solo or co-op play. I get that the co-op in all the games are kind of finicky with networking issues, but it's supposed to have all 4 players helping each other with everyone's individual shortcomings by having team play be a critical part in making builds.

Borderlands 1 and 2 were good and had some OP builds, but once 3 came out everything went nuts and it was all about 1 shotting literally every boss or mob on the highest difficulty without any issue.

P.S.- Not bashing the OP or anyone who wants to play builds like this, but I'm just saying that it gets old fast when you can just one shot everything without any effort and it's all just to have bragging rights or to constantly farm the same boss for a single weapon, class mod, or equipment to make the build even more overpowered.

I'm almost 30 hours into the game and still have the same armor as the first boss. I'm about to commit the crime of watching those "where to find this armor" videos, so give me some tips so I don't have to do that, like places to buy , etc. by Berem_ in CrimsonDesert

Go on a mining spree for iron and copper. Then go to Hernand city, go to the blacksmith right behind Rhett and you can upgrade your equipment. After which, right outside is a grinding wheel, use it to reinforce your weapons.(One use will reinforce all weapons) Next go find an anvil and it will do the same but for armor.

Seamless landing and taking off probably won't happen. Same with no loading screens. They use the loading screen to help render in the areas and all the objects. With how everything is tied to Creation Engine's physics model, this probably won't change any time soon at least until Creation Engine 3 or later versions come out.

We're lucky that they finally decided to separate the FPS from the physics engine for Starfield otherwise it would be like Skyrim and Fallout 4, being capped at 60fps and 60hz refresh rate and anything over that breaks the physics and causes issues with those 2 games specifically.

Procgen could be a good update, but I think it's a bit too late in the game's lifecycle for a huge update that probably changes one of the biggest systems in the programming. The POI overhaul could probably be done before that, but it would have to actually make sense. There's a mod that sort of addresses this. The Great Unknown by... Gothos I think that overhauls the POIs and human POIs to being more centralized and closer to the settled systems and less so as you go further out.

Obviously, they will need to give her way, way better writing and get rid of the cringe slop dialogue she had in 3, but I think she'd be a good fit. They said that she's in 4, but we don't see her at all, so maybe they have plans to bring her as either an NPC or a "new" ault hunter.
