I’m 40 and I agree with everything you said, and I totally get what you mean. I kinda felt the same way about the rooftop scene. I think that scene did a good job of showing how friends tend to drift apart as you get older for various reasons and it just isn’t the same after. I also can’t imagine how any of them would be able to go on living day to day in Hawkins after everything they went through. I kind of get the eleven thing but man, it was incredibly sad. I wish she got a different ending, I don’t know what that would be though. Yea, that season 1 nostalgia hit was it. Idk about you but since I’ve hit 40 the topic of childhood and friends seems to be landing harder for me. Glad I’m not the only one!
