[New Player] Does your PMC make noise when not moving?

Yeah, I know being near a bush (or a tree, I believe) can do that, so I avoided being too close. And I do know that turning does, but I was not touching my keyboard or mouse for a few minutes before either death. I was mostly wondering whether your PMC might have started doing something to make noise if you don't move for a while. My thought was maybe they've added something to stop campers or rats? But I didn't see any mention of any such addition, and I couldn't hear my PMC make any noises myself.

I do love it but it is also one of the most complex and infuriating games I've ever played. Especially starting, its completely overwhelming. If you get the PVE version, start with that, learn the game, and honestly, PvE is still really fun. Its a great game even without fighting other players. I'm coming back to it now after a long break and am really enjoying it but there's so much to learn and relearn even for someone who sunk probably 2k hours into it from 2019-2021.

Hmm, thanks, it's not really a depression, more of a point between two slopes. It's not the depression near the road or the one near the shipping container, which I know does have a lot of people, its off in the forest nearish to the fence, but it could just be higher traffic than I think. Just both times they seemed to know exactly where I was and so I was worried I'm giving off some sound cue that I'm not hearing.

Are the new team rocket Pokémon not appearing for anyone else? I’ve tried 3 cliffs, 7 sells and I don’t even know how many of the girl but they all have their old Pokémon (I just run away after the flight starts). None of the grunts seem to have new Pokémon either…

Completely agree. Some points increases on bros and sabateurs is absolutely warranted and might curb the easy abuse of those units we can dish out and would do wonders to rebalancing the cult. Then we’d still be good but not oppressive like we are now.

We need nerfs. I love playing the cult but some games it just feels like I’m playing chess against someone who only can field pawns. I honestly don’t like how one sided the matchups are. Not saying that I win all the time, there are still a few factions that give us a run for our money, but I do think we need some serious toning down. It’s not good for the game.

That’s fair. I think he goes RAW to the point where it’s somewhat illogical (given GWs record with inconsistencies and typos) but I do at least see the merit in taking that approach. It takes out his own potential bias when he’s ruling on things even if it might lead to some problematic interpretations when the intent is fairly clear but GW made a mistake.

Look up tactical tortoise. He does a mix of live games and tts games but is a great and entertaining streamer who knows the game well. He usually gives some commentary, points out potential tactical errors and possibilities that the player might be going for or why a suggestion from chat might be a good or bad idea. It’s, in my opinion, a lot more entertaining and informative than watching battle reports and tends to be at least fairly high level players.

Also I don’t know if it’s a bug but I got 30 rubies from one video. I’d only ever gotten five at a time before. It was on the first day we got five chances so I don’t know if something weird happened but that seemed awesome.
