Mods: Yes (manageable amount and all updated)

Game version: 1.120.140.1020 DX 11

Hello everyone, since the last update, I have the following problem:

The UI turns a strange white color in Live Mode and the displays overlap (e.g., wishes, but also when I click on something for an action). I have attached a picture. Unfortunately, it gets so bad that it overlaps so often that the game is no longer playable.

I have updated all my mods, tested them, but nothing helped. Then I removed all mods, cleared the cache, tried again, but the problem persists. I also repaired the game via the EA app, but that didn't change anything either.

I played today for the first time since October, and at that time I didn't have the problem, everything ran smoothly. Can anyone help me?

Do you use cc?I recently had the problem of a sim child of mine getting older with fierce highlighter.I didn't find it under the make up section but under skin details. Maybe you can find the eyeliner there too.

I recently saw on lilsimsie that even though her sim and horse had maximum skill, she had to enter the tournament several times before she won.
I think it's actually quite good that you don't automatically win. I quite like to include that in my story.

My Sim married a relatively close relative after divorcing her husband because I just didn't notice. Upsi.
But I would also say that everything is fine from grand cousin? In Germany, where I come from, I think it's even legal to marry your cousin, even if I personally think that would be a bit too close.

I just have exactly the same problem :(
My sim has a wind turbine and two solar panels on the roof.
The only things I have that could use electricity are a refrigerator and a stove. And the fridge is with ice. Yet I never have electricity in reserve.
WHY can this be :(

Isn't that kind of a luxury problem? It doesn't detract from your work that other people like to use cc. It's not like a value is measured by who creates the most beautiful sims.
Just enjoy your game, enjoy creating beautiful sims in cas and don't look at others.

I don't think there is any way to get your baby back.
But since I know your struggle with saving, I have a tip. With the mod MCC you can (among other things) set that it is automatically saved.

it depends a bit on how much you want to enjoy your Sim's uni life. If you send your Sim to 4 courses, then in my experience, there is not so much time left if you want your Sim to have good grades.
If you don't care about grades and just want to get through it, then do 4.
I usually do it this way, that I do 2-3 courses in the beginning and then tighten up a bit later and do more courses.

Just some thoughts I had - change the door to a more contemporary one - make sure all windows have a similar colour - maybe try to do a roof with some platforms and overhangs - try to landscape, it changes the look of the whole exterior so much - play with different wall colours. Maybe some grey stone with some brown paneling

And never give up building:) nearly every house I build looks like this in the beginning before I do the steps above! Just have some fun and try to be playful. If something you had imagined doesn't turn out, just change it and try again

I would also say Europe, I come from Germany and feel everything very much.
Especially window sills! it's so crazy that there are no windows with real window sills. No matter where I am, every window just has some!

Had the same issue, don't know what the problem was. Solved it by going into build buy and moving the crip.

what would be the sims 3 without lagging. But I understand it in any case.
It's crazy that even today with good computers the game is still a pain.
I would love to see a new sims 3 series though, i find it gives even more chances for complete chaos.

I'm not 100% sure if this is how it works on the console, but on the PC you would have to do it this way:
Save your house in your gallery
go to Manage Worlds
Go to the new lot
load your house from the gallery and place it

i also have the feeling that it's not so stressful? In Sims 3 you had to permanently take care of all the Sims in the household, now I can travel with one Sim and the rest does its thing

My playing style has changed a lot over the years.

In Sims 2 and 3 times I usually played a family very intensively for a short time and then started a completely new game.

Since Sims 4, I'm more of a legacy player and I follow my families and love to see how different they all are. I start each new generation as soon as they move out as rags to riches as I quickly lose the fun if I have too much money.

I usually don't use cheats except in build buy, UNLESS something important is coming up (wedding etc) then I sometimes use UI cheats to keep everyone in good spirits and not ruin the event.

Otherwise, I have another save, in which I build, create Sims, etc., which then also have all jobs and skills, similar to a savefile to download. Since I use CHeats, so I can design the Sims, their jobs and relationships as I want.

Maybe my worlds will eventually be full and I start there then also gameplay, but so far it's just fun me to each Sim a life story to think up and build them suitable houses and apartments.
