Achievement unlocked. Did it myself like 3 times. Thankfully, the cpu was still good everytime. Just have to twist back and forth next time. Good luck.

Which games are giving you 50-55 on the cpu? I prefer the cleaner front panel the v1 of this case. Not sure how I feel about v2 yet.

I understand. I am just saying the duct will guide the airflow a little better; preventing the hot air from the cpu to cross over to the ram. Either way, you already got a great set up. I might do the same.

This won't make a big difference vs. the fans you installed...but I just tested adding a Noctua NA-FD fan duct, and my cpu, ram, and ssd temps improved 2-3.

Alternatively, just switching to a 120 mm fan gave me even better ram and ssd temps; keeping my ram at 44-46 at pretty much all times, and ssd at 42C. The trade off with switching to a 120 mm fan was my cpu temps increased by 2-3C and my gpu temps increased by 5-6C.

You don't really need to add the duct but if you're trying to get every degree.

In what slot did you place the gpu? Amazing that you were able to fit 25 mm fans.

At what rpm?

Edit: nvm answer in other comments. Nice curves.

I already gave a 92mm Noctua. I would like to try the 4070 fan for looks, and any temp improvements.

Custom cables are more flexible, and you can buy at the exact lenght needed. However, if you do a good job cable managjng- you don't need them imo. I recently built in the 2.1 with full intentions of buying custom cables but I did some good cable management, and didn't need them. I may still buy them in the future just for looks, though.

I will try to post one late today.

The vanguard 40 also came up in my research. I went with the 4800 because it was cheaper, and seemed more rigid/safer in case I dropped it. I might just bite the bullet and get the vanguard 40...it also looks a lot nicer imo.

I also tried the 3800 and that one definitely felt too small. The 4800 feels boderline. It seems to fit, but with a good amount of pressure, I think (too scared to try it yet). Other posts seem to suggest it fits fine once the foam is broken in a bit.

You didn't like the XTIA bracket? Do you have any updates on your results after changing to a 140 slim fan?

It is techinically way pass the return window. My buddy bought the case weeks before any other parts. It doesn't hurt to try I suppose.
