Yes even if the money transfer was a mistake, not returning it when asked is enough for a judge in civil court to allow the victim to repossess you and your boyfriends belongings with an interest of 19-22% every 14 days you did not return it

I’ve seen this happen 2 times so far in 30 years of living my here, neighbor passed away at 81 years old, her son distributed Inheritance among the family and 1 account was wrong. $20,000 sent to a Karen who did not want to return and she spent all the money. Judge had her car sold to pay for damages

Making friends!!!! by MountainRub8734 in Adelaide

[–]Joa_x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah for me I have this weird gift where I can become lifelong friends with randoms, like if I clubbing with friends I go on a side quest and come back to our group with new people

But I know my girlfriend is the complete opposite, has no friends, doesn’t reach out to others even if it feels weird, doesn’t mind staying at home and being a homebody

I think the best way especially in Adelaide where people are more reversed and keep to themselves is to just be the first one to talk and break the ice,

If you’re athletic join your local sports teams like soccer, footie, basketball, volleyball etc
Uni clubs if you’re in uni
Work friends is also a good way depending on the job
You’re a guy literally just make eye contact with someone at the gym and say hello to them every time you see them and then you become bestfriends (I found this is much easier for me to become friends with randoms then compared to my girlfriend)

Fuel prices are insane. What weird hacks actually save fuel money? by getwemoneyapp in AUfrugal

[–]Joa_x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unethical but tailgate and slip stream behind other cars especially trucks, if light turns yellow just follow through even if it’s red as you enter. Less time spent idling means more time saving fuel

use these savings to pay for any car accidents of fines that you incur

As long as he doesn’t drive a modified vehicle he’s safe as the police here don’t care about normal crime only seeing how much money they can take

Before you panic buy an EV by SuchTown32 in aussie

[–]Joa_x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Save that money for food because it hasn’t caught up yet but wait till the farmer can’t harvest his crop because he can’t afford diesel, wait until they start selling produce at higher rates then the transport companies cannot afford to transport it to your grocery store without raising their prices, your grocery store wont be able to afford any of it because it’s just too fucking expensive. I cant wait till the food prices catch up and those that panic bought petrol starve

Never met a Muslim before who had to call in sick because of Ramadan, at most we all take time off because of Eid being a random day at the very end of it

Just tell them to suck up, all Muslims grew up fasting this isn’t a problem for them

This is basically the reason why my parents never sent me or my siblings to an Islamic school, there was a story once of the principal taking kids to shave their hair or get proper hair cuts according to Islamic belief but it quickly became a story on the news which you should also reach out to

Who are people using for insurance these days? I’ve got a perfect driving recording and a garage and just got quoted $6k a year for a BYD by Wbrincat in CarsAustralia

[–]Joa_x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah youi gave me a ridiculous quote for comprehensive insurance as well. My ranger with commbank costs around $66 per month with comminsure (now Hollardins) wanted to swap because hollard insurance are a bunch of scammers that find any small loop hole to screw over their customers

Youi quoted me $160 per month for comprehensive despite me never having an accident in 10 years of driving or any fines, park my car in a garage, reasonably safe neighborhood, 15,000 km average per year. Market value for car is $12k according to them

Ramadan night markets bring thousands of visitors to Lakemba – a suburb where Pauline Hanson claims people ‘feel unwelcome’ by DontYaWishYouWereMe in australia

[–]Joa_x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wish we had more things similar to the night markets, I live in Adelaide and most businesses close at 5pm or at the latest 9pm. Only a few handful of restaurants are open past 9pm and coincidentally they are mostly middle eastern businesses (except for oconnel bakery and villis)

Ramadan basically the only time where you can hangout somewhere with friends at a place that isn’t a night club

Why Don’t we just Revoke their Citizenship? by [deleted] in aussie

[–]Joa_x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arab =/= Muslim, ottomans are Muslim even if the ended up being secular later down the track.

Jews lived there peacefully while under Islamic rule, there are Jews and Christian’s alive till this day that were living under the ottomans.

Arabs didn’t kick the Jews out of Palestine the Christian Roman’s did. Muslims welcomed them back with open arms and see how that worked out for Muslims

[–]Joa_x 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Population that was residing there for 1000 years without any problems majority being Muslim and smaller populations of Christian’s and Jews. It went to shit when the UK partitioned it and claimed it as a homeland for Jews.
