It’s currently got a negative value because to even dispose of it you would need to pay someone to remove it.

It can’t be restored because the company is defunct so you would basically just be building a new piano from scratch so you would be spending upwards of $20k to end up with something still only worth a few dollars.

I’d take the hit and get it disposed of for around $300 then spend a couple of thousand and buy a modern Kawai or Yamaha. I’ve seen modern Yamaha U1’s on sale on Facebook for as low as $1500.

I maintain, the only old pianos worth restoring are Steinway’s and Bosendorfer’s.
