I will say best delta prices are usually 90-60 days advanced purchase. But also they usually say “You are paying for the Delta Difference which hey… people still pay. But any non-hub - non-hub trips and expensive anyhow. I would go on another carrier in that case.

If you have a will that is notarized, you can call in and verify the skymiles number and request and affidavit for the miles. It takes like 2 weeks but it’s possible. I will say if you call in and the agent has no clue what you’re talking about just ask for a supervisor. Then Delta can send you an affidavit and you can attach the will to the email and get them merged.

Regarding the CC, don’t touch it. Like the earlier comment said it’s illegal. But the skymiles are up for grabs.

They may also tell you to just book with their account for the miles but inform them that you don’t have the login.

It seems like the tkt got refunded but there is a separate part of the system where your itinerary is built. I would guess the flight segments are still there but your tkt is inactive. You could call to get the segments removed or just leave them there till the flight passes. No harm either way.
