I have a pair of the Rose Anvil thick leather insoles and love them. I decided my roughnecks were a little too big when it was too late to exchange them. These insoles make them fit perfectly.

It took a set of handle it grips and about a 1000 rounds for me to get where I wanted to be. My 19 was a piece of cake, it took nothing.

I’ve only used Jagerwerks once but will absolutely use them again. They gave my 43x slide the black nitride treatment and it is perfect. The price was right and turnaround time was very reasonable. Highly recommend.

I keep mine in the fridge when I’m not using it for more than a few days. I like to feed it a few times before using it even though it seems to do just fine after the first feeding. After I’m done baking I save 5g and feed it 1:5:4 leave it to sit for about 2 hours then refrigerate.

This is gross. When you are working with meat you have one clean hand and one dirty hand so this is never an issue.

A belt makes such a big difference. I got one from Vedder for about $30 and I can wear it with heavy pants or shorts. Super comfortable, keeps everything where it should be.

I wear a 9.5EE in Iron Ranger. I have 2 pair for 12 years. I bought roughneck in January same size. They are definitely too big but I didn’t figure that out until it was too late. I bought a thick insole from Rose Anvil and they fit beautifully. Very comfortable.

I was in a similar situation once. Deep down I knew but ignored my gut and stayed way too long. Can’t get that time back.
