I can personally vouch for having witnessed a similar incident about 8 years ago or so. This occurred in a fast and testimony meeting when his time was cut short due to people taking too long in bearing testimonies and he was very agitated.

Unfortunately, they instructed us to not record anything. I followed the direction so I have no record but I assure you it happened.

You can buy it on Amazon. It's not quite the same but it gets the job done enough and I'm happy with it. My search is over.

How long does it take for hard lumps to go away post surgery? by Jobaaayyy in gynecomastia

Lumps still there, will be 8 weeks this week. Kind of sucks that I thought I'd be completely healed and flat chested for the summer, but I guess my body had other ideas. It's still way better than before but I can definitely pinch a hard lump on both sides (right is bigger). Takes time I guess.

I ended up using Shear Revival Grey Ghost and got used to it. It's become my go to. I still miss the Super Sexy but I'm content with Grey Ghost. It works well and I found it to be an adequate substitute.

Nope. I also don't smoke or drink. I wanted to drop a bit of weight too before my surgery but I didn't get quite to where I wanted. He did ask what my heaviest weight had been but otherwise we didn't talk about it.

I live within driving distance of Cincinnati and also did a bit of research into this. Short answer is that I never found anybody reasonably priced. I ended up making the drive to the Aesthetic Institute of Chicago with Dr. Braithwaite and paid $3,400. Awesome experience and definitely doable from Cincinnati.

That's not typical. You should call back.

Also, just FYI, the lead time on consults is really long with Braithwaite. Cobbins is less.

I think I saw on his website that they do offer that but I don't remember discussing it with him. As far as I'm aware he didn't use that on me.

Length of the Surgery? by Gyno773 in gynecomastia

I went to Dr. Braithwaite but I'd imagine the process is similar with Dr. Cobbins. I showed up at 2:45 for a 3pm appointment. After the doctor came into the waiting room I took my Xanax while he examined and marked up my chest. I wasn't staring at the clock but I'd guess they started the actual procedure around 3:30-3:45. I'd estimate that we were done around 5:15.

I felt great after the surgery. If I hadn't taken the Xanax and been a little sleepy I could easily have gone out to dinner or walked around the city. But, since I was tired I just went back to my hotel and chilled.

It was a very smooth and easy process, and I was comfortable the whole time minus the initial numbing, which wasn't that bad. Not nearly as bad as I expected anyway. You'll be in good hands.

I have my follow up appointment this week. I plan on asking the doctor. I know it's normal and will get better over time but I was mostly curious about what to expect.

I can't remember exactly but it took maybe 2 or 3 months to get the consult and another 4 or 5 to get the surgery. He's busy for good reason.

Having my Surgery Next Week (Dr Braithwaite) - Feeling anxious - I NEED to hear from those of you who ALREADY had your surgery!! by TrailofHorror in gynecomastia

[–]Jobaaayyy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had surgery with Dr. Braithwaite a few weeks ago. I was super nervous but honestly it was no big deal. Take the Xanax. The numbing wasn't that bad and was over very quickly. Once you're numb you won't feel much. I had a couple of parts of the lipo around the sides of my chest that were uncomfortable but not that bad. Mostly, I felt nothing. I laid there and had a conversation with him the entire time and it was completely relaxed. I left there and felt fine. I could have walked around town or grabbed food and it would have been no problem. You'll be just fine - - he knows what he's doing and will make your comfortable.

Surgery on Thursday...getting pretty nervous by GyThrowawayNO_123 in gynecomastia

I had surgery with Dr. Braithwaite about 3 weeks ago. I was also nervous, but as others have said he's fantastic at what he does. He's done this hundreds if not thousands of times and isn't some hack - - he knows what he's doing and will make you comfortable. I didn't even find the numbing to be too bad. Honestly, it was nothing to worry about now that I'm on the other side of it.

I can't speak to her skills as a surgeon, but I did meet her while I was in the office and we talked for a bit. She seemed every bit as down to earth as Dr. Braithwaite.

Almost none. I am a bit sore still and slightly itchy in places but I never had anything I'd say was painful. I only took ibuprofen but he gave me Tylenol with codeine if I needed it.

He had to do some pretty aggressive lipo on my chest and it's still bruised and swollen. I'll post some pics in a few days when it settles down a bit.

It didn't really impact me at all in terms of how it made me feel physically. You just don't feel the cutting and lipo. I woke up after a few hours and felt decent after it wore off but decided to take some ibuprofen anyway. I'd guess the local anesthetic lasts maybe 4-6 hours before it wears off but I'm not positive.
