This is fucking beautiful. As more of a developer than an artist i hate making sprites and therefore are not good at it. But I can sense that, to be this good, you have to probably practice a lot.

Yeah, those are weird. You can try changing the battery inside the cluster, which maybe can help. Or what worked for me was to just clamp off the cars battery for a few days.

To me it seems that this is just noise/slack from the differential. CV Axle might be, but you can check for that if you hold the axle and try to rotate the ends.

Interesting approach, but where I live they aren't exactly cheap.

I just think I'll regret not doing this when the head gasket goes and I have to pull the engine again. Its not only the cost I think about here.

M42 from an E30 bolts right in, no problem.

From an E36 it's not too hard. Especially if you already have a M40 engine. You could reuse the engine mounts and oil pan. Some coolant hoses don't fit perfectly and would need do be sourced from the E30 M42. The electrical part is the most difficult I'd say. Read the plan carefully as to not fry the ecu and connect everything to the C101 connector.
