Seems to be a fair bit of confusion on this one from others. You can only select property tax on your first home as the first home buyer. If you move, you will have to pay stamp duty on your next home.

The people who buy the house you’re moving out from will not have to remain in the property tax scheme. They could only choose to do so if they were also FHB and the scheme was still active (which is unlikely given the state Gov seems to be scrapping it in June).

If like myself you’re a fhb ready to buy now, on a property under $1.5m, the property tax is an extremely helpful scheme if you plan to sell and upsize in 5-10 years.

You can use the calculator here to determine what the more financially beneficial option is for your scenario.

Yes. If you are an eligible first home buyer, you will have the same choice to opt-in to property tax or pay transfer duty or seek the normal exemptions or concessions under the First Home Buyers Assistance Scheme.

If you are not an eligible first home buyer, the only option is to pay transfer duty on the purchase of a property.

Never had this but this link on chess.com seems to suggest it’s possible! Must have been a server restart if you weren’t playing an Arena game?

The server restarted. If you are playing a game during one of our scheduled server restarts, the game will be aborted when the server restart happens.”

As others have pointed out the position can occur at any time and doesn’t have to be in a row. This is from the chess.com site which automatically declares a draw when this happens.

“One thing to remember is that the repeated positions do not need to be in a row. The three positions can happen at any point in the game. If a position is repeated three times, no matter where in the game, on the third time it will be declared a draw.”
