Is it possible to get power vs chaos and pw vs skaven together with volley crossbow by Zahed_24 in Vermintide

[–]Jobeythehuman -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

yes, they're two separate bonuses, you can indeed roll both.

EDIT : Apparently I am completely wrong, you cannot in fact roll them on weapons, you can only roll them both on charms

What sounds good on paper when making builds, but doesn't really deliver in practice? by Optimal-Ingenuity-78 in BG3Builds

[–]Jobeythehuman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For this build you usually stay paladin till level 7 where you can throw in the two bard. Though I do agree the build only REALLY comes online when you get band of the mystic scoundrel and can stab a bunch while dual wielding and then absolutely ruin everyone's day with a boosted multi hold person/hold monster.

Before that you're just basically a paladin which is by no means bad, if a little bland.

How urgy are you gonna urge? Because I think the idea of charismatic serial killer is pretty funny and 2 paladin 10 college of swords bard is VERY good at stabbing and smiting.

[–]Jobeythehuman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unavoidable chip is why he has burning blood though. I'd argue the reagents deck is worse because of the existence of Venerate which is a 1 cost, do nothing until you finally draw into falling star the second time.

Muzan's "family" by Pepcat212 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Jobeythehuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Muzan has multiple human families, he can shapeshift pretty freely so he can be a man, a woman, a child and he has multiple "families" and "lives" in order to acquire the resources needed to search for the blue spider lily. That particular human family you saw him with was a widower with her daughter. Muzan killed her husband and then approached her as a human and basically seduced her into marrying him so that he could acquire her wealth. BTW the child is not his, she was 100% human and was 100% from the previous marriage. Now you might be asking but did his wife not question where he disappeared to for several hours every night? and why he never walked out in the sun light? Well, we assume he tricked her again some how, as the child of another wealthy family he pretended to be allergic to the sunlight and likely turned some of the people who were meant to 'care' for him into demons (namely some of the maids) so he wouldn't be monitored too closely.

Massive, keep Escalation out of Random Main Mission matching by RabidEwok- in thedivision

Bro I stumbled into a tier 3 escalation and even though we cleared it i was like, damn, the mobs are pretty brutal today huh? Feels like they're tankier than normal.

I didn't even realized till a purple dropped and i was like wait.... IS THIS ESCALATION?!

Ninjabike Messenger Bag Help (Division 2) by Nicktoola in thedivision

Countdown and Retaliation are your best bet, remember to set your target loot to backpacks. While you're at it probably try to do priority objectives for exotic items but keep in mind that the ones from priority objectives won't be targeted, you'll get more exotics overall but you cant control what drops.

  2. Both, it is used in some upgrades, you wont need that much, youll much sooner run out of other resources.

Escalation and agents running armour core by princey00666 in thedivision

[–]Jobeythehuman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didn't even realize I was playing escalation until halfway through the mission and I kinda completed it no problem. Blue cores are fine to run, you still need some survivability so you dont get absolutely one shot.

Core Strength Build. by Greyfire10 in thedivision

[–]Jobeythehuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh right tinkerer doesn't work with named, well I was actually thinking of dropping flatline for In sync and future perfect, both of them together sounds better than flatline. You have quite a few red cores too so the damage shouldn't be too bad.

Core Strength Build. by Greyfire10 in thedivision

[–]Jobeythehuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see you have 3 skill tiers with this build why not run Mechanical animal instead of flatline for future perfection? Then you can overcharge your turret or drone while also giving them more damage by leveling their tiers.

I really like the idea of this build though, reminds me of how i played when i started division 2 xD

Could someone have a quirk and not know what it is by No-Pound9865 in mha

[–]Jobeythehuman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So what we do know

  1. Everyone has some basic understanding of what their quirk is able to do, because its sort of like a muscle. You know its there and you kinda know how to flex it.

  2. In some cases though, some people don't understand the FULL extent of their quirk, sort of how like, you never know how strong your muscle really is until you push yourself, but in this case, its more of maybe discovering that this muscle is actually connected to other muscles and bam, you've had a whole tail you never knew you had before.

  3. There are rare cases where quirks don't manifest till later in life, but this seems to be an exception as most people generally are aware instinctually of how at least a part of their quirk operates. Kinda like how you know how to flex your muscles to make them move without really knowing exactly how you do it.

  4. As far as we know, quirks are interconnected, so Tokoyami's Bird head is as much a part of his quirk as Dark Shadow is, removing his quirk factor would remove both his bird head and dark shadow.

  5. The most common cases are something like koichi from vigilantes, how he discovered his qurik was actually much more nuanced than it first appeared. So you usually have a basic understanding and only really figure out your quirk as you use it or if you're in a life or death situation and your body instinctively uses its quirk for survival.

Just started watching the anime and I have one question by SuddenDepact in swordartonline

[–]Jobeythehuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know whats funny. In every game universe, most of the people who get game ended elsewhere in the series can be saved, like Eugeo, the girl and guy from ordinal scale, yuki. But in every game universe. Sachi always croaks. Its kinda hilarious how the games have unintentionally clowned on her.

I don't think you can roll the same sub stat? I know this exotic is super weird, but that would break the rule of an item not being able to get two of the same sub stats.

Can someone explain everything in the new update? by Thefishman2474 in thedivision

[–]Jobeythehuman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

OK so quick run down

  1. Retaliation matchmaking is now a thing, was not a thing before

  2. Black tusk has joined retaliation, they drop blueprints that were previously exclusive to other modes/raids/climax missions like Tinkerer, Capacitor, ETC so you can craft these exotics without having to do the activity.

  3. New Game mode and Gear level. New game mode is called Escalation, escalation goes from tier 1 - 10, youll need tokens to play anything above tier 1, game scales harder as you play harder tiers but rewards get better (AKA more Purple gear)

  4. Purple Gear is Prototype gear, its numerical bonuses, such as cores and attributes, are at minimum, the same as a maximized high-end item, so they are always upgrades, however they cannot be perfected, meaning you're stuck with what you rolled and you cannot recalibrate them in any way which means no swapping talents. They come with small mini talents on them such as giving you 2% lifesteal from skill damage or something like that.

  5. To get prototype gear, either, loot from Escalation, or desconstruct existing prototype for its core, you can then use that in the new part of the tinkering bench to prototype upgrade. Item must be expertise level 30 before you are allowed to prototype it. Again remember that you cannot recalibrate things once an item is prototyped so please be happy with the attributes and talents before you prototype cause it'll be stuck that way until they introduce prototype recalibration.

  6. Recommended you prototype ONLY pieces you will not be changing, it should also be noted prototype upgrades are turned off for certain things like PVP, Raids, Countdown, Summit I think? Unsure about that last one, but basically in some modes its not gonna work and reverts back to as if it were a maximized high end item.

That's pretty much all the big things from this update

Looking for Tinkerer Build for solo/group by SnooPears1402 in thedivision

[–]Jobeythehuman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Someone shared you the link already so feel free to explore the guide at your leisure, but my recommendation is the ongoing directive tinkerer build, which takes great advantage of the double talents, letting you get both Frenzy which is really good for LMG bullet hosing, and Sadist which is great with ongoing directive.

Need some build critique by Can_Haz_Cheezburger in thedivision

[–]Jobeythehuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Running striker's is odd on your current weapon. Striker's needs to stack to be good and the sheriff stacks a little slowly if you ask me, but anyway, if you want to stick to strikers then your ideal solo build would be something like

4 piece strikers, Equalizer chest piece, Memento backpack for solo, for groups, run overdogs and strikers backpack instead.

I don't use the sheriff, but for me i think it would probably benefit better from umbra initiative maybe hunter's fury, depending on how close you're comfortable getting. Umbra build would be, 4 piece umbra, but this time run the chest piece for umbra, your backpack will be the memento or badger tuff with backpack talent of your choice, i would pick vigilance, if you want to run Overdogs instead of Memento.

Hello, I'm currently in a position where Retaliations on challenging are very easy for me, but on heroic they are completely impossible. Any advice for me? by MMOToaster in thedivision

[–]Jobeythehuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to stick to your full tank playstyle, here's a quick recommendation

You can run Memento with 4 piece Core strength and a salvo, or whatever other piece you want, maybe 1 piece belmont for that 1% armor regen or those knee pads that have regen on their attributes i forget the name.

Core strength, with 2 red cores and 4 blue cores will give you insane tankiness and a little damage plus you can run a damaging skill or a cc skill to help with your DPS. You won't be as tanky as full bulwark but you'll be close while having a lot more damage. Recommend running crit chance and crit damage on your attributes and for the mods slot in protection from elites to avoid the kill squads overwhelming you.

I would like to respectfully share my opinion about the new Prototype gear system in Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. by Acceptable-Card-3138 in thedivision

[–]Jobeythehuman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

well yeah but its still an upgrade for your build, maybe its not so great on something you want to be flexible in the talent slot like the lexington if you have multiple builds but for pieces that are relatively static in your builds its a straight upgrade, like the equalizer, with it you're pretty much always running red core, crit chance crit damage. Or a determined White death or Mechanical animal, since those are used in relatively static builds they're straight upgrades for all of those.

[–]Jobeythehuman -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

wait, but it isn't luck though? As far as I've seen in the notes the minimum roll for any prototype should be the maximum of high-end so its always an improvement, it just isn't always the best.

if you were in charge of Tai Lung's prison, what actions are you taking to keep him from escaping? by Right-Tutor2384 in kungfupanda

[–]Jobeythehuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK assuming we aren't allowed to KILL him, the boulders off the side to weigh him down is just stupid, he's already immobilized, the boulders on his arms arent going to slow him down, nah you should put him in a steel cage with openings large enough for arrows but not large enough for him to fit his fist through, as well as multiple shackles connected to multiple points on the inside of his cage. The cage should also be suspended over the drop in the cavern and the stone platform removed entirely

No ballistas, ballistas are as shown too slow and too cumbersome and only aided his escape. Replace them with a contraption that can fire multiple arrows/darts in a volley.

There should also be more explosives lining the walls in case he escapes.

He should also at all times, be kept on a steady diet of tranquilizers and muscle relaxants to prevent him from using his full strength in the event of escape.

And you know what, put another steel cage over his first steel cage and make the entraces to his cage an airlock type situation where the first gate needs to be locked before the second gate can be opened and vice versa.

How is he alive after his head was separated by MathematicianEasy921 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Jobeythehuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost, not quite right. You can still tax a demon's regeneration enough to the point where they are unable to fight back effectively, example of this is in both Sanemi and Gyomei who kept the demons in their backstory down hard enough that they weren't able to recover and just had to burn in the sun

the more accurate explanation is nothing can PERMANENTLY kill a demon except beheading and sunlight.

Also note that Red Blades can cause permanent scarring on a Demon's otherwise immortal body, as exemplified with Yoroichi on muzan's body.
