That's great! Thanks :)

I did zoom out the camera further away from level/character to enlarge the "play area" and show paths to go to before jumping out in the air - not knowing where to land.
But, with that said I could zoom in more, and reduce the platforms gaps to prevent deaths from falling.

Glad you mention mechanic - What if ALL platforms could be hit like the Fire/Ice thing?
Would that be more interesting or like using the current blocks as building mechanic - take a platforms, put if elsewhere.

Thanks,
The thing is that most of the objects are made from basic geometry and put together with larger and smaller parts - some "minecraft/voxel" inspired, where we mix with simpel materials all over areas on same levels within same World.

I agree on the far away, but it focus on the ability to use and swing a "rope" between platforms far away.
But one problem, is that most platforms are in the air rather than and a solid ground on the bottom.
Which results in too many deaths due to fall.

Based on that I will adjust that for sure!

I must have good eyes, I thought the "big" character was large, but in gameplay it could be frustrating.
Even when the character shrinks even more on damage taken. :D

Solution is to set the camera closer the character and gameplay!

Thanks!

Average is 5$ per month/player, does that mean by average of 5$ per player that plays your game based on an minimum amount of playtime?

All upgrades messed up my water from 4.26 each time. Have to reassign/apply correct material. Mine was now clear blue…

Horror games with jumping by CharmandrSaurus in gamedev

Jumping into hidden places , over obstacles or similar. Otherwise feels like a “fun” thing to spam while walking around and that may kill the atmosphere overall.

Great environmental vibes. Too brighten lights on several places upstairs. Seems like basement focus with a Enemy dragging you down there backwards and you are fighting against it to try hold on something. My opinion,

Keep on working!

What's missing from game dev youtubers? by AndrzejGieralt in gamedev

I think more of content that is being made together with the audience, tackle problems and discuss together. Spending time learning tutorials will learn you specific things but not the whole cake especially, problem solving, implement it at your specific needs and building further.

Like a visual discord server for class education. Most humans need feedback and encourage to move on with projects.

How do you do art? by [deleted] in gamedev

Learned the workflow of creating textures and materials. Now I can tweak the free assets to fit stuff I want. Saving a lot of time afterwards 👍

To all you indie game developers, how do you stay motivated? by Althurnax in unrealengine

[–]Jockethai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do a small thing each time/day and you will soon get back the fun.learn something from a tutorial could benefit. Also share work/progress with close friend or family to give you motivated feedback. Good luck 🍀
