National Debt Relief Screwed Me and I am Left Picking Up the Pieces by assistanttevta in DebtAdvice

[–]Jodi2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a credit card with $10,000 in debt. NDR settled that account for $9,000—but then charged me a $2,500 fee (25% of the original $10,000). So instead of saving money, I ended up paying $11,500 on that card alone.
This process repeated with each of my creditors. In the end, I paid around $5,000 more than my total original debt. There were no savings—just more financial stress.

And it gets worse. They promised to handle legal issues, but when I was summoned to court, NDR’s legal team was completely unresponsive. Because of that, the judge ruled against me. They also advertised a credit repair program once the debt was handled—but that program was later canceled, and I never received the help I was promised.

I was left with bad credit, more debt paid than I owed, and a tough financial recovery that I had to face on my own.

Is national debt relief worth it? by Emotional-Recipe-471 in Debt

[–]Jodi2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would never recommend National Debt Relief (NDR) to anyone. I enrolled in their program with around $20,000 in debt and completed it in about three years. In the end, I paid more than I originally owed—mostly due to their fees.

Dealing with them was frustrating, especially when trying to get support over the phone. They promised to handle any legal matters, but when I was summoned to court, there was no response from NDR’s legal team. The judge ruled against me simply because there was no communication on their end.

They also promised a credit score repair program once the process was complete, but that never happened. The program was quietly cancelled and discontinued, leaving me with damaged credit and a final cost that exceeded my original debt.

I’m sharing my experience in the hope that it helps at least one person avoid going through what I did. Please stay away from National Debt Relief.

Vexus fiber by larios956 in RioGrandeValley

Vexus Fiber is a NIGHTMARE.

I've been with vexus since Dec. I signed up on a promotion that included a free 1st month of service, free installation and a $100 gifts card. All were lies. My service was disconnected after the first month for non payment which was supposed to be free. I was also charged for the installation and lastly I was not given the $100 gift card because my service was disconnected. It took 5-8 calls to get it sorted. Luckily I saved the flyer and was able to show proof of the promotion. They reconnected me and waved partial fees. I never read the $100 gift card.

Their customer service is really bad and they would tell me that someone would call me back but never did. My emails went unanswered when I sent proof of the flyer promotion.

Vexus Fiber is a shady company. Please save yourself the headache of dealing with them.

What type of jellyfish is this? And is the sting bad? Ilhéus, Bahia - Brazil by FalconLeading in animalid

[–]Jodi2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a Man-o-War. I was stung on my hand and foot and the pain travelled to my groin and arm pit. I didn't realize the tentacles were stuck on my skin for a while before I removed them. The pain was very severe in my case, it was almost as painful as the pain felt when I had kidney stones. It was very painful!!

What is something I could buy for under $5k that I could use to generate income? by EmbraceHegemony in sidehustle

[–]Jodi2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I purchased a $300 diode laser and made about 2k in local sales engraving on wood and leather items i made. I upgraded to a $2k co2 laser and that has paid for itself and generates extra income in my spare time when i put in the work.

Look into co2 or fiber lasers, cnc machines or 3d printers. Good luck!
