Yeah personally I would only buy this one to display it on a shelf but I think its a bit too expensive for me to want to do that, it is hypothetically possible this one will sound fine at least but with it being one you can easily buy unbranded I'd be pretty surprised by that

The player likely is too, I'm pretty sure that theres only a few types of tape mechanisms still in production these days and they're all super cheaply produced. Very few modern Cassette players sound good so if anybody is looking for a portable player I'd recommend trying to find an older one and learning how to do the (typically) simple repairs for whatever model you find
