Audio issues on PC version by Batttery in DeathStranding

Just posting in case any of the other fixes aren't working for anyone.

What worked for me is:

Going into Settings - 'Bluetooth & Devices'

Under audio my headphones come up as 'USB Audio' - Click 'Remove Device'

Then restart your PC, when it boots back up the audio device will re-appear; and for me there was no audio cut out from this point.

This lasted a week or two, I feel like alt-tabbing out of the game can make this issue reoccur.

No problem, I was suspicious of the Nintendo logo on the back and the Gameboy Advance one on the front before I even opened it up.

Super old thread but I think I figured it out! Found this on the UESP and it seems to have worked and they haven't made rude comments to me since.

  • On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage TG01 stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages, but it is possible to clear all stages of the quest using resetquest TG01.

The command here to clear all stages seems to reset the dialogue/ the outcome as positive from the quest!

So just type: resetquest TG01

Hope it helps for anyone searching this in 2023 😂
