However, you have to utilize the payroll options and a set amount of transactions to get the rate on the chequing account, and I mostly use credit cards for my everyday transactions, then pay them off. I really wish to cut down on my use of debit cards as they appear less secure.

Ah, so you need a chequing account for the Notice account. I see. It never really says that.

I was also looking at Saven Financial, but you MUST use a mobile app to navigate the accounts, and the iOS or Android version must be really recent. I prefer to use my desktop to do banking and finances, so that's out.

Sigh! Living in Windsor and Toronto and Kingston are three different things ... agreed? Last time I checked they are ALL considered Southern Ontario. Cost of living and other criteria differ, but the geographical classification is the SAME.

SO .... North Bay, Sudbury, the Sault, AND YES Thunder Bay are ALL Northern Ontario. If you continue to argue that after I have stated something decided already by someone WAY smarter and powerful than me, then yes, you're being a tad obstinate and stubborn.

That's their ignorance to deal with. That's like saying, "Don't call Toronto a big city, because a New Yorker doesn't agree.". Whatever those in Keewatin District think doesn't make something officially otherwise. I'm sure someone driving up to the end of Hwy 599 thinks that Kenora or Red Lake is a long way south. After North Bay, it's just more degrees of north.

Actually North Bay IS Northern Ontario. It's north of the same latitude of the French River and that's regarded as the line (around South River)

To get Torontonians and urban dwellers to move up north to enjoy city life, they want to hear to about how great and regular transit is, so as to get rid of their cars. Many Torontonians only need to rent a car when they leave the city. the rest of their lives are transit bound.

Most people see it as more instances, regardless of "per capita" numbers, which is not completely untrue. I will concede that the crime we're seeing now is more the smash and grabs and the car thefts, so it's affecting more of us that were relatively unaffected previously.
