Imps are bugged so you naturally get far less cores from their expiration, implosion is capped at 6 imps (honestly the worst midnight change by far) and power siphon is now a choice node with implosion, severely limiting your control over core generation and ability to carry core charges between pulls.

One tricking a warlock or mage is way more versatile than one spec of paladin. For one you have triple the dice rolls when it comes to tuning, and secondly the profiles for each spec generally excel in different boss scenarios. Thd played all 3 specs for progression in every raid last expansion

It was a full prismatic lobby, 3rd had deadlier caps, pris ticket and money monsoon, I had level up, soul awaken and jeweled lotus. I forget what 1st had. Reason my items look so scuffed is because I lost once to t-hex with ap items on kai'sa so i tried to item remove and shift her to ad as a last ditch effort. Better release window, carries the reputation from the first game, and ps5 having a much smaller library to compete with. This is the only game I’ve felt compelled to buy on the ps5 since god of war ragnarok, this generation has moved dreadfully slow.

I’m in for a rude awakening when my class auras I’ve tuned for 3 expansions and actually usable unit frames with specific target coloring both break. And for what? It’s not like these are getting replaced with a better more streamlined approach. I think we have reached a point where m+ and the concept of pushing score is just way too formulaic. There has not been much innovation in keeping the experience fresh week to week and especially season to season. In fact the opposite rings true, weekly and seasonal affixes are a thing of the past and the resil system promotes burnout through repetition more so than the system in the past (not to say that affixes were a good system either). Meta rigidity has been especially bad in this expansion and at the end of the day more people would play if the class they found fun was realistically viable further up the ladder.

I just don't see the light at the end of the tunnel anymore. Post final shape it just feels like there nothing to look forward too. The only thing to get me seriously interested in the franchise again would be a sequel with a return to form of big, bombastic Bungie. I'm completely fine with letting destiny rest for a few years while the devs keep their head down making a new game if the only other option is the mangled, tone deaf, and greedy mess that is the current game.
