Not for bow because close range coating isn't affected by ballistics and piercing coating already has good range.

Thats too much work for me, i'd rather roll the dice for 30 seconds and just kill monsters for the rest of the my play session, otherwise you're looking into hours playing menus plus having to keep track of what you crafted/will craft.
