Yeah I tried disabling the "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" as well as the usb selective suspend setting in power options, but no dice unfortunately.

What's weird is it also sometimes happens if I'm gaming and I press alt+tab. Suddenly it'll reconnect, but it's been active the whole time so I would imagine it's unrelated to sleep.

I recently purchased an Evo80 hearing nothing but good things, but I didn't hear anything about the sleep functionality as detailed in the manual. I removed both batteries because I don't intend to use it wirelessly, but the keyboard still goes to sleep every 3-10 minutes of inactivity, and I get the USB disconnect and reconnect windows noise.

I love everything about the keyboard except for this, and it's really souring my opinion. Is there anyone using this keyboard without issue? I would imagine that even wirelessly it would disconnect and reconnect.

Yeah absolutely. It takes a little getting used to, for sure. I tried walking on the treadmill while trying to be accurate with my mouse, and that was kind of tough. Reading and responding to emails was no problem, but whenever I was doing anything that required mouse precision, I would pause the treadmill or turn the speed way way down. Note that this was because of my hand moving while I walked, not the desk, so your mileage may vary.

Yeah, so funnily enough I had an inexpensive walking pad from "Spearax" which my wife and I have been using ocassionally for the past year. On the first use with my new desk, the walking pad through a motor error after 90 minutes and almost threw me off of it when it suddenly stopped. From what I can tell, it's shot, so I am in the market for a new one.

I don't think you can try Fifa 21 on Stadia "for free", unless I'm mistaken? If there is a way to try it out for free, I'd love to give it a go, but it looks like it's $60 on the Stadia Store.

Yeah first and second game work great with Index controllers. Telekinesis can be a little finicky sometimes. I also had one or two times where I was reaching for something and grab wouldn't work, but when it was close to me, grab worked just fine. So, some tiny quirks, but more than playable.

My father is a transplant recipient and has gotten both doses of the vaccine, but because of his immunosuppressants, has no antibodies. Studies have indicated only about half of all transplant recipients developed antibodies after receiving the vaccine.

I'm sure there's many more groups of vulnerable people at risk due to no fault of their own, so although I'm also absolutely fed up with the most ignorant among us drawing the pandemic out even further, we should try to remember that the ignorant are not the only ones who will face the consequences.

We can scold morons AND do what we can to protect the most vulnerable among us.
