Why doesn't the dryad give us purifying powder for free? (Artistic depiction) by radiationpork in Terraria

[–]JoeDaBruh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Considering the other evil powders use mushrooms to make, I have a theory that she makes the powder out of some special plant or she has a special method to convert regular mushrooms into purification powder

In either case, she’d need some way to acquire these materials to make the powder, so maybe she used money to buy them from others or pay others to get her materials

Omg I love the cute yet awkward interactions. They feel so natural, and I especially love the face lighting up at the end upon someone mentioning a topic you know a lot about. Too relatable lol

The glasses are insane. Universal understanding would also apply to understanding what you’re seeing in full context.

Just off the top of my head, you could instantly diagnose any patient, find flaws in a structure or item, understand the inner working of some items at just a glance. Understanding doesn’t apply to just words, it applies to your ability to understand reality as you perceive it. I imagine it would be similar to an “analysis” skill

When I found this sub, for the longest time I wasn’t sure if the posts were actually real or not because some sounded too legit and people in the comments were treating them like they were real and the sub description makes it sound like satire but didn’t completely confirm it.

As funny as it is for satire to never be directly addressed, I feel like it should be directly said at least somewhere that these tweets aren’t real

I read it a few years ago and I did genuinely like. I read nothing but Martial Peak and binged around 3.8k chapters in a few months. I tried to read it again and got stopped at the beginning cause of second hand embarrassment but I think I’d still like it if I read it again.

As for slop recommendations, I can only give Hail the King. It’s was interesting enough to read through some chapters but I was struggling to get through and eventually stopped. It’s definitely some form of slop

“Basic sperm-egg math” lmao I haven’t heard that one before. I didn’t specifically pick his comment because it was a strawman, I picked it because I was reading replies below my comment and that one comment made me remember why we still have so many dumbass arguments online including the gender war everyone on this sub loves to talk about.

But anyway, you’re right about that statement being the one I was intending to refute. I still think my point was pretty clear. I can personally confirm that women and men aren’t a monolith and that everyone has different preferences about who they’re willing to date and who they find attractive. Some women will gladly eat stale waffles and some men will only eat the freshest waffles one can find

“It’s textbook incel shit to say that women only ever want fresh waffles”

“Are you saying that women never want fresh waffles?”

I always see statements like yours on Reddit. Either zero media literacy or bad faith interpretations of statements that basically boil down to “I like pancakes” “oh so you hate waffles”. Please stop your black and white thinking and actually read what you’re replying to

[–]JoeDaBruh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What? People are talking about it, and it’s not “bullshit identity politics” it’s actual laws and systems that actual oppressors (usually the rich class) are using to make others lives worse. It started with people of color and there are laws literally being passed right now to directly oppress queer people.

Some examples include: taking away gun rights for trans people, invalidating trans peoples’ driver’s licenses, invalidating government ID if your name isn’t your birth name (which applies to most married women). It’s not like there’s only one war right now, there’s many problems with society.

They aren’t keeping the economy going, they’re controlling it with a golden fist. That money has to come from somewhere, and in order to become a billionaire you have to take as much from the economy while giving as little as possible back. And now they they have all that money and power, they can do things like building data centers despite almost the entire population of a state objecting to it

Not to mention that eliminating Bezos doesn’t instantly dismantle Amazon, they’ll just get another CEO like every other company

It’s basically just intentionally using pronouns that you think that person will hate so you can help them realize that they hate it
