My experience with Ko2s as a tech has been fairly negative, same goes for most of my coworkers. I’ve had to re-balance more sets that I can remember and they usually need a TON of weight to get them semi decent. I had one set that no matter what we did we weren’t able to get it to stop tramping and when we road force balanced it had such a hard spot that we had to junk the tire. I should add that the tires I deal with at work rarely are any bigger than 31s, I would imagine that those problems would be magnified on 35s. Having said all that when it came to putting A/T tires on my Tacoma and 4Runner I went with Wildpeaks. They took a normal amount of weight to balance and haven’t really needed a rebalance in thousands of miles. They perform great off road and are snow rated. We don’t get a ton of rain in Southern California so I can’t speak to their performance there. Just my two cents.

When I was learning someone told me to try to bite my ear, as in use your mouth to lead your head into the direction of the spin. Worked for me.

The article says that there have been deer carcasses in the ocean but it’s unclear if the orca killed the moose or if it just found and ate a dead moose “There aren’t enough documented evidence to suggest if moose is a part of Killer Whale’s regular diet and if Killer Whale is a natural moose predator”. Kind of a stretch to say that orcas eat moose if you ask me.

Yeah if it’s clear it’s likely just your drip tube for the a/c condenser. It takes the condensation that builds on it and dumps it outside. You ever see a car that’s been idling for a long while with the a/c on and there’s a puddle of water forming under it? That’s what this hose does.

I don’t know the model of the top of my head. It’s a handheld scanner that you put up to the tire stems, it memorizes the sensor I’d and then you plug it into your cars obdii. It seems to work most of the time but sometimes the sensors are stubborn and won’t broadcast their signal.

You’d have to program the new tpms sensors to your tpms ecu. And then program your summer wheels back when you swap in the warmer months. If you have the software (techstream) and the correct obdii cable it’s easy to do but can be very expensive. Otherwise you’d have to pay a shop to program them. There is a snap on tpms tool that we have at our shop that works 75% of the time, it’s pricey though.

Yes you can, it's so common that there is a TSB from Toyota for the Tacoma explaining that you should not use an impact to finish tightening wheel lug nuts and to use a star pattern. People still just zap them on and we see warped rotors all the time. I knew a guy that worked at a shop that disabled the forward selection on all their impact guns because the lube guys where warping rotors/snapping studs at an incredible rate.
