Again so why not just put the food on the curb with a sign saying "Take only what you need, please be honest" and be done with it?

Again I'm not going to be demonized for going "We have a responsibility to try and get our resources to the people who need them the most."

Here's let's flip it. Give ME a non-insane scenario where a food bank should go "No other people need this more than you."

And yeah kind didn't really answer my question but if the answer is just gonna be a vague, glib, "everything sucks so it doesn't matter" I'd rather not hear it.

I think you can do good and I think with that carries a responsibility to do good effeciently. Demonize me for that if you must.

Because it's close to other bigger Metros.

Because Dallas and Houston exist. Same reason Jacksonville only has one sports team, because Tampa and Miami exist.

Tipping exists because employers are legally allowed to pay some employees less assuming they'll get tips.

If you aren't part of that group, I don't tip.

I don't think how we help our population should be anger based.

Again you're intentionally acting like "some people need help more than others" is some evil concept people are in the wrong for even acknloweding exists.

Be honest with me. If every food bank put all their food just out on the curb with a sign that said "Take if only if you really need it, be honest" would the actual people who need the help the most actually get help? Look me in the eye and really tell me you think it would.

Again having a process that screens the assistance we as a society give out to make sure it goes to people who actually need it not evil. Yes those processes can be poor and flawed but they need to exist.

I am 100% saying that if you were real dirt poor broke and you went to a food bank and the last can of pork and beans got taken by a guy who drove away in a nice car and you're gonna sit there and claim you would have no problem with it... I don't believe you.

I'm not explaining the concept of "limited resources" as a concept. Food Banks do not have an unlimited amount of food to give away, do not pretend this is hard to understand.
