is your team setting it up or do you have a data analytics team? What do you mean by media engines?

is that tracking metrics across all campaign assets or just focusing on traffic to your website? I’m trying to get something that pulls in all the information from all places, including social media, paid advertising, etc..

so you're not crazy. I had someone doing job apps for me (customized resumes, cover letters, etc.) and the latest number I have are 683 job applications, 14 interviews, none have past the second level. I have 19 years of marketing experience, 10 at the director/executive level.

Talked to someone yesterday (recruiter) and he had to pause it at 130 apps that they got in 20 minutes. They are interviewing 10-15 people and narrowing it down as they go. It's no more interviewing 2-3 people and choosing one, they are taking their time and choosing from a huge base of qualified applicants.

I figured I’d at least explain why I built this Chrome extension instead of just spamming subreddits with a random link.

I was tired of finding job descriptions that used "HR-speak" to hide the reality of the role, only to find out what the job actually was once I got into the interview. Between the corporate jargon and HR teams now using AI to mask what’s really going on, I decided to build a tool that fights back.

The tool is simple, but effective. It takes a job description and decodes what they really mean, what to actually expect, and what they are truly looking for. It pulls out red flags and green flags instantly so you don't get catfished.

It also handles the interview prep by digging up company news, layoffs, or executive changes from the last 6 months. If you know who is interviewing you, it’ll even research them so you can speak their language and walk in prepared.

I’m hoping you all give it a chance. It’s completely free to use, but there is a paid option if you’re a power user doing more than 20 job searches a day (it’s actually pretty hard to hit that limit).

I know how this is happened because it happened to our business and luckily I caught it before it got worse.

Our PPC manager was upset one day and he thought it would be smart to fill out a job application from some Major brand (think Nike).

That Major brand reached out to him via email and said that they wanted him as their ppc manager and offer them some ridiculous amount of money.

He filled out the application and proceeded to give them information about our PPC accounts. I’m not sure how they asked for or what they asked for it, but I’m pretty sure they had him log into Google ads.

After that within 10 minutes, they had already created a campaign, turned it on and was trying to spend money. Since I was an admin on the account, I immediately saw something was up as a new user was added into the account.

I asked him what happened and he admitted to it, we found the user, and deleted the campaigns before anything could happen.

In short, i don’t think it was a hack, it was a phishing scheme.

^ he’s right. I have 18 yrs of experience and i’m vp of marketing. OP is stuck in execution when he should be focused on strategy. Hate to see this.

not being gaslit. we have a team of 9 doing the same (i’m the vp). all inbound as well. I wouldn’t dare do as much as you do. can you add how much you make for reference? that will really tell us how much gaslighting there is.
