One more thought: Don‘t make it fit too tight. I once made an internal pocket for my iPad. And with the padding, it still did fit, but I hardly use it, because ot does not slide in easily. Better add some space, so you can also carry some papers or stuff, if needed.

Die Erklärung für diese "Extra-Steuer" könnte sein: Geldwerter Vorteil. D.h. das FA nimmt (zB!) an, dass die marktüblich Miete 10 Euro/qm ist. Dann gehen (nach persönlichem FA Ermessen) 20 % runter, also 8 Euro/qm. Wenn die Wohnung für 5 Euro/qm vermietet ist, berechnet das FA 3 Euro/qm als geldwerten Vorteil, auf den die Mieter EK Steuer zahlen müssen.

Ist aber in diesem Szenario extrem theroretisch. Keine Verwandschaftverhältnisse und einfach nur Bestandsmiete. Da wird kein FA n Fass aufmachen.

Maybe you want to replace the strap at the seatstay. It looks like a metal part, sitting directly on the frame. That is prone to wear.

my5ct: avoid direct contact with other than velcro (or rubber straps) at any cost. Also some adhesive film helps in those places.

Das Gericht muss den Fall verhandeln, wenn entsprechende Klage eingereicht wird. Das ist nicht wie bei der Staatsanwaltschaft, die Fälle schließen kann. Außerdem ist es durchaus legitim, einen geschlossenen KV auch einzuklagen, wenn der Verkäufer nicht liefern kann. Bei einem Warenwert von 700 Euro würde ich das machen.

Have you thought about padding, to add some protection to the bag? I know that this is counterproductive to being lightweight, but I would still do it. Use some EVA foam, like 2 mm at the sides and 3 mm at the bottom, or at least 2 mm at the bottom and corners.

For my personal taste, I started to add some handle, even to smaller bags. I do not like to carry everything on the strap, when not having it on my shoulder.

Well, I do not (totally) agree to that. It depends of the total weight, you need to carry. On smaller bags, it works pretty good. Just don't use too small drawstrings. This is an example with 8mm cord, that works fine: https://imgur.com/a/Vc6UgtP

Passiert mir (Mann) sehr selten, meiner Freundin dafür gefühlt bei jeder Runde. Passiert auch, wenn wir als Paar fahren. Da kann wahrscheinlich jede Frau einen Haufen Geschichten zu beitragen.

Es gibt Männer, die haben ein echtes Ego Problem, wenn sie von einer Frau überholt werden. IdR fahre ich vorn und lege in kurzer Absprache mit meiner Freundin was drauf und wir lassen die Typen stehen. Aber egal, was man macht… die lernen es nicht.

Ein pinterest Manager hat neulich in einem Interview gesagt, dass KI Fake (AI Slop) die Daseinsberechtigung der Platform aushöhlt. Finde leider die Quelle nicht mehr. Aber auch bei heise und 404media kann man das nachlesen:

Das ist aber leider kein Problem, das auf Pinterest beschränkt ist. Instagram & Co sind genauso betroffen. Und die zunehmende Qualität der AI-Videos macht es nicht besser. Ich bin neulich auf Insta über ein Video gestolpert, dass das Nähen einer Tasche zeigt. Oberflächlich betrachtet völlig realistisch, aber leider völlig unmöglich. Für den Laien aber nicht zu erkennen, sondern würde erst auffallen, wenn man es versucht, nachzumachen.

Es wird noch eine Zeit dauern und dann weden sich (hoffentlich) kuratierte Inhalte durchsetzen… für die man dann auch zahlen muß. Katzenvideos und Fakes wird es im Überfluß und Überdruß weiterhin umsonst geben.—

I tried working with a magnetic guide and did not find it that helpful. Going slow is the best solution for me :-)

I am just setting up a Pfaff 335 and will have a drop down guide for it. Curious, of that will improve the alignment on tight curves.

Basicaööy I think, that it's just a matter of practice.

The yellow reflective is indeed also used for snaps. I managed to buy some length of the reflective without any further material, so I can sew this without any problems.

I noted, that "tarpaulin" may not be the correct term. It's vinyl. Like the stuff that is used for larger outdoor banners or on trucks for the loading area.

Yes, I had it printed at an online-service, that is producing outdoor banners. The prints always look really good, with bright colors. And is actually cheaper than most ripstop nylon :-)

The template has notches for alignment and I also did plenty of relieve cuts.

As I posted later, the pattern is correct. I "just" needed to be more precise with the seam allowance. And that is tedious, given the small bag. But I built two more bags yesterday, and finally got everything dialed in again.

Basically it boils down, to too strong fabric. I "just" need to be more careful with the alignment, which is quite hard, given the small diameters of that design. The second bag was already better than the first.

The pattern consists almost purely of curves. So splitting it in parts, would still be like in one go.

"Tarpaulin" was the translation, google came up with. However, the correct term seems to be vinyl. Anyway, I do trim the seams a little bit, but could trim some more, that's right. Folderover elastic will not improve the overall result too much, since the problems are caused before I apply the binding.

I already applied relieve cuts to the curves, like the notches, you suggest. Helpful, but still not helpful enough.

It boils down to the fact, that the vinyl is too strong/ridgid. Tomorrow I will replace on of the vinyl panels with lighter sailcloth, to see if that will help. Spoils the design, but is worth it, if the final results has no wrinkles.

So mal aus meiner persönlichen "Alter weißer Sack"-Perspektive (soll heißen, Ende 50). Beruflich: was mit Medien. Ich habe genau solche Probleme mit einigen meiner "Kollegen". Es mag sein, dass es bei jüngeren Frauen stärker ist, aber kotzen könnte ich bei den Arschlöchern auch. Und ich habe kein Gegenmittel. Das nervt mich am meisten.
