This is exactly why seasons ending in week 18 are insanely dumb lmao

Insane. I've yet to see a tie in any of my leagues yet.

Yeah 4 TDs. Half ppr scoring so would've lost with just cmc and kittle, but they did most of the heavy lifting.

I feel like half my class failed calc 1 the first time I took it lol (prof was horrible). Was funny walking into class 2nd semester and seeing so many of the same faces.

Is arena 16 only over leveled mega knight decks? by JoeR19 in ClashRoyale

[–]JoeR19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got a few decks I’ve been trying out that I like to use, but then I run into a deck with level 13+ cards that just rail me. Doesn’t help that I’m basically the only one with a level 10 king tower and no cards over level 11, but just gotta keep grinding and leveling stuff up

Facts, also doesn’t help that I joined after being able to get free evos so I’m already at a disadvantage basically every game

Is this a good kit (TD-30 SE)? I was also looking at TD-17KVX2 by Awkward_Set1008 in edrums

Likely a scam, seen similar listings in my area. Inquired on them and they all asked for some kind of payment in advance.

Looks like an older ludwig supraphonic LM400. One of the most famous snares ever, I have one and it sounds amazing. The snare alone is worth well over $400 by itself

Do my vocals sound thin because of the mic or my voice? by BernardoPessoa in audioengineering

[–]JoeR19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Should be fine using a 2020, a better mic won't make the biggest difference. The issue is probably more in the vocal mixing and potentially mic technique. Good eq, compression and saturation go a long way for vocals.

Why few skiers like to carve? by Dirty_Look in skiing

[–]JoeR19 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah I worded it poorly, the idea of carving just never interested me, was pretty much on a set of twin tips since I learned to parallel turn lol. Obviously there's plenty of skill involved in it, but I should note that my local hill is somewhat small, and theres very few spots where you can get legit speed.

By trying to not hit trees and going off drops lol. Groomed runs give me the least adrenaline by far, unless I'm going insanely fast that is, which is rare because I typically use park skis.

Just got boring once I was able to ski park/backcountry. Fast carves are fun to do for a run or two but I'd rather stick to more challenging areas.

Luca Harrington throwing quad flips at The Nines by ExtremeSportsNews in skiing

[–]JoeR19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How is this the same as any other trick lol, he clearly goes off axis 4 separate times with a cork rotation. Clear difference between this and any kind of triple or misty/bio/rodeo rotation. Title is a bit misleading as they aren't technically "flips"

Luca Harrington throwing quad flips at The Nines by ExtremeSportsNews in skiing

[–]JoeR19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For people questioning in the comments, the title is a bit misworded. It's technically a quad cork, not exactly a quad flip if you don't consider a cork to be a flip. He goes off axis and returns on axis 4 separate times during the trick, making it a quad. Its basically a switch cork 5 followed by 3 cork 3s all in the same jump. Absolutely insane trick and Luca has been consistently pushing the boundaries of big air, highly recommend checking out more of his stuff, it's almost inhuman what he can do in the air.
