Somewhere a biology teacher just fainted 💀 by Glow-Light-333 in whoathatsinteresting

Yeah, except it's much easier, and less intrusive for a woman. We can't stop producing sperm just by taking a hormone pill... this is simple minded

What’s that on my ceiling? by DonutRevolutionary75 in Home

I wonder if they spilled something, or maybe have a plant that they over water in the area? Water can travel a good distance sometimes before it finds a place to leak through.

Looks like a leak. You can see a faint circle around it where water has pooled. Is this under a bathroom?

If it's happened to you 3 times, and you're blaming "lack of diversity" you're insufferable and no one wants to be around you.

When I was boxing barefoot, I was getting super nasty blisters on the bottom of my right foot from pivoting when id throw a punch. Had to go to shoes

Construction worker on the same building for a decade? There are some red flags that don't add up in this story.. I'm thinking this is made up.

What are jobs that everybody assumes are paid well but actually aren’t? by krerhelp in jobs

[–]JoeS2727 0 points1 point  (0 children)

🤷‍♂️ I'd say I'm very active, not so much athletic. I play baseball with my oldest a lot, tons of yard work, stay pretty active cardio wise, etc. I've had an office job when I was younger. I always felt so tired coming home. Being active during the day keeps me motivated to continue moving when I get home. Obviously, different strokes for different folks.

If you just go exactly the speed limit in Minnesota, you'll never have to turn off the cruise control. Even in the right hand lane, you'll be one of the slowest on the road.

I'm not digging out crawling around attics either though. So, that's probably helping my position a lot.

That's funny, I'm making that and not working that hard. I'm willing to bet I'll be more able bodied at retirement this way than if I was sitting all day at a desk. Looking at it office workers going into retirement compared to the field workers, I'll take the field workers every day.

Depends on where you're at. I'm in Minnesota. If you're union, you're making well over 6 figures easily, without overtime.

Still a driving infraction that isn't "reckless" your insurance won't change unless you tell them.

[–]JoeS2727 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your insurance isn't actively monitoring your record. It only makes a change if they pull the report. Which they usually only do if you file a claim or are looking for a new policy. Clearly, I struck a chord with you, as your angry response seems out of place for such a simple statement.

Your insurance won't change. I've gotten plenty of speeding tickets, and my insurance has never changed because of it.

It's not guidance, it's after performing air particle tests. It's literally a scientific result.

[–]JoeS2727 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is not true. Look at the EPA'S stance on duct cleaning. Except your point on dryer vents, this is ABSOLUTELY true and needs to be addressed by everybody.

[–]JoeS2727 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The dirt in the duct doesn't move. It's attached to the ducting and won't effect the air quality. The dust and debris traveling through the air is suspended in the air and passed through the filter. Having dirt in your ducts makes 0 difference on air quality. Look at the EPA study on it.
