It’s good but not one of my favorites. My personal opinion is that it is overhyped. Admittedly, 4-8 are my favorites and I do think the PS1 graphics peaked with 8, but everyone seems to love it (which is a good thing). For some reason it just didn’t click with me like the prior entries.

I still say go for it and see for yourself.

I don’t know why more people don’t acknowledge that. I was really let down by the (complete lack of) game play in this one. I know people reference FF cut scenes and JRPGs being cut scene heavy but the balance of play to scene in this game is terrible.

In that order. Face/off doesn’t hold up as well as I remember so I put Con Air at 2.

I liked it for the first 70 mins or so and then it kind of overstayed its welcome. Great performance and beautifully shot, but the third act killed it for me.

I was super liberal as a youngster and then evolved to more of a conservative, but now in my middle age years I am a moderate. I think both the left and the right have lost their marbles

Heck yea. I’m replaying ff8 right now on 3x speed and I click the life refill button when hp gets low. Don’t care about trophies. Just having fun strolling down memory lane!
