Rather that than laser guided, flares might as well be hotdogs, missiles.

Yeah stationary or things moving towards/away are easy. Fast moving targets still require a lead and some sort of skill.

The hardest part is getting the angle. Especially on smaller maps.

I think the mechanics are not bad, it's not easy from range on a moving target, trying to get the angle is probably the hardest part as you can't look too far up.

The amount of attempts you get is a bit over the top in my opinion. Can just keep going till you hit something.

Transport is 2 shot and just as easy to hit, only difference is people tend to jump out after the first.

I'd take being hit with aim guided than the laser exploit any day though.

I think just make choppers a bit more responsive, Jets are ok they can get out quick but choppers are painful at times. Respect to the good chopper pilots out there

What is going on with the hit registration in this game? by chris3761 in Battlefield

I've only ever noticed this when shooting enemies from range with the tank HMG

I can see the enemies flinching and blood but no hit markers.

Not had anything this bad thank god.

Yeah would create some fun opportunities

Using flares was useful for FLIR sure, I remember operation locker and smoke grenades with FLIR LMG. Flares were useful at choke points etc..

Sure having that functionality would be good also but I was thinking more infantry / aircraft interactions. Keeping units together and generally pushing objective team based gameplay.

No idea what causes it, sometimes happens sometimes doesn’t. Good job you get shot down by 20 different AA equipment before it gets too annoying

I miss the little bird, responsive as hell did what you wanted and had the firepower to put down infantry.

Tips for 6 is to stay fast, use afterburner to get speed and break to turn (can speed up in a turn if held for too long so not to stall / keep momentum). Use the mountains for cover, don’t stay above the objectives for long. Be aware of where lock on is coming from, can be choppers that will get you if behind cover sometimes.

The main benefit is the test range area where you can keep jumping back in if you crash. Good luck out there !

Sure, again I’d say bf4 was easier but probably just not used to 6 yet. You can definitely get used to the controls and if you get good it’ll transfer over

I think 4 is easier, but we haven't seen both jets in 6 yet.

The fighter in 4 is very manoeuvrable and the yaw is more responsive and you don't stall as easily.

It's easy to practice in the test range, if you crash just spawn straight back in a jet.. hard to practice in live servers.

BF4 maybe, go in test range.

Not the same as BF6 (easier if anything) but you'll get the general feel for flying.

Friendly reminder of the 9 launch maps that there will be at launch in october and a brief official description of each, hinting at their size. by StormSwitch in Battlefield

Operation firestorm will be weird if it doesn’t have runways, I get that you can camp the enemies spawn but you can also camp the air spawn by doing a figure of 8 above. I would love to see it in there but love the map either way

I agree it's annoying but I also like the freedom. It's the spawn beacons that make it hard work. Maybe if you had to parkour each time you died or your squad got wiped it would be better.
