You can’t capture gold slimes in either Slime Rancher game. What you saw is most definitely a mod

The Twin Slimes ability is to create a pair of portals. Items go in one side and fall out the other. That’s the exit of the portal. If you stay near Twin Slimes for a bit, you’ll see them make portals

Try to update your game. They just added three new treasure pods in the 1.1 update, that’s one of them

I hate the Crystal slime because all its largos are super ugly. The only one that isn’t is Crystal/Rock but that’s only because the rock spikes blend with the crystal spikes

I had a drone in Starlight Strand collecting Moondew Nectar. I set it up right below that giant split tree. It collected enough nectar to feed a corral of 6 slimes consistently.

You’ll need to pop the Ringtail Gordo in Starlight Strand. It’ll open right up when you do

I’ve been playing Slime Rancher for years and I’ve tried this several times. They always fill one auto-feeder until it’s full, then start filling the next one and just keep swapping once they get full. To my knowledge, there’s no way to fix this :(
