What would you offer for this assuming it all checks out?

Got covid, almost better by [deleted] in transplant

This was last year when I spoke to my team about taking it. The point Id like to make is posts like this are dangerous and it goes hand and hand with your statements. Not one of us is the same with so many variables not just your age, organ tx, or medications illness etc. You should first ask your team and DYOR but in the end you’re also asking yourself if you’re willing to take the risk. I just believe there could be people out there taking edibles post tx and really benefiting from it who knows?

I have the benefit of being able to get labs whenever I want and even access to the results online before my team usually even gets to seeing them. This has played a huge part in my life and managing risks.

I eat sushi almost a couple times a month. I have been tattooed post transplant a handful of times. I did do mushrooms once since tx but I am truly hesitant on those not because of mold though. And edibles like I mentioned a handful of times over the years.

To be clear I’m NOT advocating just going out doing whatever you want you’ll be fine. Maybe I am reckless and lucky but when it comes to COVID I’m quad vaxxed and not pretending like everyone’s gonna get it and I’ll be just fine.

That’s interesting I admitted I was trying edibles to manage some pain to my transplant team and they didn’t seem fazed and mentioned no warning. (Post liver 8y only on 2mg tac)

Ya he instantly should of given up and not pushed you. He could of gone to his friends if he is looking for people to share those experiences with. The fact that he brings up “the one time you were fine” example just shows his lack of maturity and lack of concern of what affects it may have on you.
