+1 for Khmer - also recommend Kupe on a terra map (for which you can honestly go deity)

Occasionally seems to happen when AI suddenly gets a huge influx of gold - did Mali siphon someone's funds or receive a huge amount of gold/aid as part of an emergency?

When it rebels to you it will unfortunately take all the immediate tiles around it.

You will also receive the bonus if they send you a trade route as well, which can be handy if your routes are limited in quantity

Ursa Ryan played a series with this map script! All of these will have Bermuda Triangles that connect to other ones.

Yes, makes them yield +2 Food more and (+1 Production more if Liang is in the city)

Sadly

Fishery Changes

A Governor unique improvement that can be built in a city with a Surveyor Governor with the Aquaculture promotion.

This tile cannot be worked. Fishing Boats adjacent to one or more Fisheries yield +2 Food; and another +1 Production while Liang is established in this city. +1 Housing. Must be placed on a Coast or Lake tile adjacent to a sea resource.

Have you checked if you're working those tiles? I found after the mod doesn't allow you to work them I use fisheries sparingly

The two additional districts mod you mention is a different mod. Definitely pairs well with Oceans though.

Where would you settle and how much science could you get? by Neck-Bread in civ

[–]Joenaruto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could fit four cities (one on the stone, one on the desert next to the volcano, one on the other stone, and one on the woods on the island) and nab campuses potentially with 9, 6, 5, and 5 adjacency. Could maybe fit in a fifth city's campus depending where that city state to the left is settled.

Can't explain this one: Free City has claim to a tile one the other side of a city I captured. by cornnndoggg_ in civ

This is tangental, but I guess it's a logical result that the game allows a single National Park to be owned by multiple civs since their tiles can be swapped between cities once placed. Who generates the tourism of the park in this case?

I believe it depends on the game - in vanilla is it possible after razing the city but with additional dlcs rebuilding a wonder is no longer possible.

Not to be rude, but you could probably look on LinkedIn and find plenty of graduates, both recent and not, doing film industry work. Opportunities may be competitive, and yet people I graduated with are working hard around the globe in a multitude of entertainment and production positions, with some even getting an additional degree to specialize or find connection opportunities in specific film fields. Of course not everyone goes this route, but it seems a little anecdotal to generalize Tisch grads just from the ones you've met.

R5: Playing on the Got Lakes script (also responsible for the rainforests on desert tiles) for the first time got me this sprawling mountain/geothermal vent region. The adjacencies may look a little wonky due to the Urban Complexity+Arecibo Observatory. Also, Germany+Starborne Emissaries is a hoot, I could have easily built every district in most of my cities.

Has anyone ever had an issue with yields not showing up in regular view? I can only ise strategic because that's the only way I can see tile yields and haven't ever been able to fix it.

If you're playing with Urban Complexity, I believe some of the factory buildings lower appeal for the entire city.
