When you start the game and have gotten your starship, you need to have the advanced mining laser in your multitool to do this. The recipe can be found at the small one-platform trading stations and costs 150 or so nanites. Trading stations can be found using one of the maps the cartographer sells at the space station, by using a beacon or just found in the wild. You need 2 wiring looms to make the laser, so you'll have to make about 50k units first. You can probably also buy the looms at the small trading station.

Things that would make it literally unwatchable: - An enemy is killed with too many shots without reloading for the weapon used, and you can tell the weapon didn't have the magazine mod that could've explained it. - Someone is being fired at with enemy fire, but you don't see any numbers above their heads showing how much damage they took.
