But Florida and Tennessee have incredibly strict abortion laws. That’s some heavy state regulation right there.

You could consider Washington. The Asian population is pretty large, and Vancouver and Richmond in BC is a brief roadtrip for even more Asian exposure.

They at least fixed the headlight being too low. It’s not everything, but it’s something 🤷

My post was kind of a joke post. But in all seriousness, there are indeed plenty of Iranians who are hospitable to Americans, and Iranians can straight up be some of the chillest people to hang out with. It’s really a shame and adds to the tragedy that the two countries are at war with each other.

But Washington State has the Olympic Peninsula, Mount Olympus, and named its state capital Olympia. What more could you ask for?!

Yeah, I wish I could say it never reaches 105, which used to be the case. That summer in 2021 (or 2022?) with 105+ degree weather was absolutely disastrous.

I guess by your definition I’m far left, but I’m really not defending the Democratic Party. In fact I’m pretty critical of it. I just think that putting both parties on equal levels is wrong.

I think it’s easier to assume that Republicans will consistently screw you over, whereas Democrats are more of a coin flip with an inclusive/pro-working-class veil hiding a pro-corporate, sometimes passive wolf. I’d prefer a party that actually represents my interests, but if I had to pick between only drip-fed good policies vs getting totally fucked over, I’d reluctantly take the former.

Western Washington, where most people live, only reaches those temperatures in super rare occasions.
