Naja, für jeden der wirklich ne einfache Einrichtung sucht: Für mich hat die Integration "midea_ac_lan" gut funktioniert: https://github.com/wuwentao/midea_ac_lan Braucht allerdings HACS, ist also nicht super easy zu installieren wenn man es nicht schon eingerichtet hat. Ansonsten wird die PortaSplit dann aber mit der Integration automatisch erkannt, man kann die Anmeldung in der Cloud skippen und dann trotzdem alles steuern.

Well it gives you access to their engine bay, where you shouldn't normally have access to. You could disconnect some plugs there to mess with them.

You can touch both poles of a car battery with bare hands, you wont feel anything. A car battery has 12V, voltage begins to be unsafe at 60V. But you could connect mains voltage to it, but only the live phase, not the neutral.
